First Impressions

This is my 2nd Epson. My first was the RX 600 which I used for many years. I just opened the box on my new XP-850, set it up, and printed several pages. Soooo....1st Impressions: Excellent print quality. Strong colors. Good speed. Great Wireless features. Easy setup. User friendly controls. Small foot print. Very stylish!
I wish the output tray had an auto retract button. Pushing it back in manually makes me feel like I am going to break something. However, you can always just leave it open I guess.
Some of the plastic feels flimsy. However, at this the terrific price point, I would have to say the XP-850 is better than expected and worth every penny!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upgraded to XP-850

Previously I owned an Artisan 810 which I was very happy with. The XP 850 is much better. I can print remotely from my iPhone, my iPad and my laptop. It lets me print black & white only and has separate paper trays. I love the improvement with the tray that collects the finished page. On the 810 it was frail and breakable the 850 page is sturdy and comes out automatically. Small foot print. Excellent print quality every feature first rate. I recommend this printer

First impression

I've only had my printer for a few days but really love it so far. I had to replace my Epson Stylus Photo R800 which had fatal ink clogging problems. I hope I don't run into that with this machine but it offers so many features that are great. The ADF, wireless connection, touch screen, remote printing, high quality photo printing and scanning resolution make me like it so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like this all in one printer. It is fast and prints very good copy. I am still trying to figure how to upload pictures from my camera chips. since it runs wireless it is new for me. Overall I would rate it a 4 stars

The software was easy to install and the WiFi connection works great. The print is slow even in Text mode, the photo's look good on photo paper. The Paper Load Cassette 2 is Not User Friendly and cheaply made, and the slide out paper return gets in the way. The CD/DVD only prints to the disc it does Not read or write. The Ink caps must be stored for next replacement and are messy. The ink cartridges are small and don't last long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased a refurbished model and had to send it back just barely over a month. Ink tanks are very small capacity for a printer that allows you to print on CD and DVD printable blanks. Opted for a replacement under the warranty

Espressions xp850 printer

Love the qualiy of the photos but I found the print tray hard to get used to and wish it held more paper. I do like the somewhat smaller size yet it still does everything I need it to do. I recommend the printer.
