So far so good, neat compact unit

Although I have only had this particular printer for a couple of days, I am so far, happy with it. Still learning different components of the printer, and not sure yet about remote/wi-fi printing aspects of the printer.
Quality seems excellent.
Would however, like to be able to select size of photo I want to print, but so far seems the printer pre decides that by automatically selecting cassette 1 which is set for photo sizes not A4 option.

I have just upgraded from a TX800 FW to this XP850 and was very pappy with the old printer,so hence I stuck with epsom

The instructions to use it are clear and easy to apply. The put in of paper in which tray is confusing at first. All OK.

Brought ourselves a new printer and epson was recommended to us, so home it came and wow is all i have to say. It is fast! The colour is great on the photos and the set up is quick and easy .. I'm looking forward to using my printer all the time.

I have used Epson printers for 20 Years, on occasion when contemplating buying a new printer I admit to have looked at Models by other manufacturers but somehow like a fish to water I always gravitate back to Epson.
My reasoning always comes back to knowing all of the great features I love about Epson printers. My passion at the moment is CD/DVD printing and with the XP-850 I am overjoyed at the changes to CD/DVD tray positioning, ease of loading and excellence of quality.

Love some of the new features

This printer will complement the new Epsom V600 scanner I just bought as well. As I am into doing up old photos and my wife is in her photography this printer will be of great help to us both.

This product has all the features I need to print all my Family photos in good quality and also to print lots of photos for my Hobby catalogue which I print on double sided photo paper(which was easy to work out from instructions on line ) to make a colour album.
All in all it works very well for all my requirements
