THIS IS MY 1ST FELLOWES SHREDDER AND SO FAR WORKS LIKE A CHARM..... QUIET AND POWERFUL. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING OFF BRANDS. THIS GETS MY AAA.. RATING.

Best shredder we have ever owned!

After having 4 shredders which lasted just about 2 years each, it was time for another shredder. I picked this shredder because it was a micro-cut shredder. This shredder is so quiet that I can talk on the phone and shred at the same time and I have had no one ask me what the noise was. My last shredder, which was also a Fellowes, sounded like a big Mac 18-wheeler crashing through my office wall. I love everything about it. The shredded pieces are so small that it is practically dust! No one can reassemble these pieces. I do not care for the credit card/CD shredder as the pieces are big strips and you can still read the credit card number and/or the same very easily. It needs to cut it up even smaller. Other than that, I would not hesitate to recommend this for home or small office use. Manufacturer's warranty could be longer than one year however.

Excellent Shredder

Amazingly quiet....!! The Micro cut is almost like a pulp.... absolute security!! Recommend to anyone to purchase.

Great Shredder

Our office loves this shredder. The best thing about it is it's super quiet! The stream lined look fits so well into our office. We love the black & chrome. It even shreds discs & credit cards. We also love the confetti cut shredding. We are extremely happy with this product.

Finally, the ultimate shredder!!!

I am thouroughly and completely satisfied with my Fellowes miciro shredder. I especially like the "as advertised" ultra quiet operation. I could shred at 3 O'clock in the morning and not disturb anyone. Prior to this purchase, I had never heard of the Fellowes brand. It's a great product at a good price.
I tried a few others to replace my old one (Staples and Black & Decker brands) but had to return them back because I was not satisfied for one reason or ther. I will definitely recommend the Fellowes brand shredder to anyone I know who is in need of a shredder.

This is the best paper shredder I have ever had, it is very quiet when shredding & I also love the safety feature that if anyone touches near the shredding slot it automatically stops shredding..wonderful for people who have curious little fingers around that might want to stick fingers in there!!!! The micro cut makes me feel much safer when shredding that there is no way any identity theft could take place with this. I looked at other shredders but this one really was the best quality that they had the others seemed to have flimsy construction. I would highly recommend this shredder to anyone of my friends or family!!!!

I finally found a shredder that I'm happy with. Very quiet. Nice housing. You also get a few shred bags and a small bottle of oil.
