It's not what I expected

I bought the shredder thinking it was like the old one I use to used, but this one only can load few pages not even the 7 advertised, and is very noisy. so I bought another one the DS-14C it's much better.
For the price it's not worth it.

I purchased this to replace a shredder I've had for 8 years. This is much quieter than my old one. It works great so far, but I've only had it a short time.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Secure Cut Size

I bought my MS-450Cs micro shredder a little more than a year ago. It was for home use and over the time I had it I probably only emptied it 4-5 times. The last time when I tried to turn it back on nothing happened, no power, nothing. I may have gotten a lemon, but for no more than it was used I would never ever consider buying a FELLOWES product again.
Pros: Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features
Cons: Warranty, Service Guarantee, Mess Reduction, Quality Construction, durability

Great Shredder

This is hands down the best shredder I've had or seen. It's very quiet and cuts the documents into very small pieces. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a shredder.

Excellent Shredder

The Fellowes MS-450Cs is an excellent shredder! My colleagues and I work with higher education information that is often confidential and should be destroyed safely- this shredder helps us to maximize our shredding needs by cutting up to 7 pages at a time while not overheating. It will effectively shred plastic disks, comes with troubleshooting and maintenance information, and online product registration is very easy. We look forward to using our shredder for many years and recommend Fellowes products to anyone in need!

Shredder is good quality and works as advertised. Shred size is excellent. Excellent for home and home office. Not for heavy continuous use, but it's not advertised as such.

I originally purchased another shredder after reading "hype" about it. It was more of a gimmick ("Stack and Shred") and was pulled off the shelves within a week of me receiving it. I immediately did some research and came up with the MS-450Cs which not only had great reviews, but fit my needs perfectly.
After receiving it and using it for just a few days I found I could not have been happier or felt better about the purchase. It feels solid in the way it does it's job, but is nice and quiet while doing it. The "micro-cut" is great and makes me feel more secure, while filling up the basket much slower.
The fact that it has wheels is nice, although I don't plan on moving it, but none-the-less it may come in handy when cleaning the area around the shredder. The unit "feels" solid and seems to be made well.
So, all in all I am very happy with the purchase and feel a sense of confidence in it's use, both present and future.
