Amazing

I am so very pleased with my new GE Profile 36" Induction cooktop. Having used electric cooking for 40 years, this product is superior to all others. The temperature controls are fantastic, allowing for simmering, sautéing, and a full out boil exactly how you need it to be. Fantastic! My only regret is getting the stainless steel trim. It has scratched and there isn't much I can do about it. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cooktop without hesitation. At long last I have control!!!!

Induction is the way to go.

An older GE induction cook-top was in our house when we bought the place ten years ago. We had never heard of induction cooking but immediately adapted to it; it has the best features of gas and electric cooking combined. We recently updated our kitchen and had no question about putting in a new induction cook-top. At the same time we had been so satisfied with our old GE model we stuck with the brand and have had no regrets.

We love this top. Bought it for a kitchen remodel because wife did not want gas. You do need induction cookware, but we already had a set. Super quick. You can boil water faster than putting it in the microwave. If we had to do over would probably get the model without stainless trim.

The unit gets hot fast. We were amazed. You can also control the temp easily and very accurately. Had to buy new pans but my wife didn't mind that too much.

Great cooktop! Has five big burners and cooks faster than gas! Easy to clean and looks really nice in my new kitchen. Our daughter convinced us to go with induction cooking instead of gas and really glad we listened to her! Love it, love it, love it!!
