I bought this nearly a year ago and it has changed my (cooking) life. Food cooks evenly and fast. The stovetop shuts off when it recognized unattended spills and burning (Trust me on this one, it is a great feature to have!)

There is nothing like putting water on to boil for pasta and in just 3-4 minutes it is boiling!

DIFFICULT TO ADJUST

recently added this induction cooktop to my kitchen and it had been hard to adjust to. NONE of my cookware was usable - so I had to purchase new! Not too sure I like this cook style.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the clean lines and easy cleanup of glass tops, but my husband (who does most of the cooking) loves the quick temperature control that you get from gas. This gave us all the features we both wanted.

We also loved this cooktop, but suddenly started flashing Ec code. will look for a different brand for replacement.

Better than expected

When my stovetop blew up we decided to get flat top. We were planning to get ceramic because cost of induction was so high, but I found a great deal on induction and I LOVE it! It takes less time to cook potatoes and gets hot enough to can vegetables and doesn’t take forever like ceramics. I did have to get new pans except cast iron works, but it was so worth it! I would pay the extra to replace it if I had to.

Really like the way it cooks

I love the way it cooks, almost like cooking with gas. There are a few things that could be improved. The metal trim around the cooktop is very easily scratched. I'm sure it will just take some getting used to but when you turn a burner on, it doesn't heat on until you hit the + or-. The cooktop was a little pricey but it was the only one in our city at the time we needed it.
