Just installed today. Tuurned it on and everything operates as it should. It is by far the most attractive cooktop on the market.

Awesome Cooktop!

I've been using this cooktop for 5 months now and have no complaints. The cooktop looks sleek, cleans up easily, heats up very quickly and keeps temperature steadily. While the area near a cooking pot gets warm from ambient heat, it does not get hot enough to burn or even pull your hand back in warning. I routinely wipe up spills around the pot as it's cooking. We bought new cookware to use since most of my old cookware did not have a metal base. We also bought an Induction Hob Heat diffuser to use some non-metallic items on the cooktop (we love our little espresso pot but it didn't work on the stove) and it works really well. The 4 burners are sized great for most things but a 2nd larger burner would be appreciated.
Only a few very minor items to mention. In some light the burner pad can be a little difficult to see making it hard to determine if your pan is place optimally. The control lock button still sometimes allows the cooktop to beep while I'm cleaning it. Neither issue effects my enjoyment of the cooktop.

Induction cooking is great!

Have had the PHP900 installed for a over couple months now and am happy with one exception. I wish the timer was louder. I use the timer all the time even when I'm using the oven, for instance but it's barely audible even if you don't have a exhaust fan running and completely useless if you do. All else is great with this product. Especially for a bachelor it's easy to clean which is a great feature.

Induction cooking taken to a new level

A beautiful appliance that works as well as it's hype..Boils water in 90 seconds, cleans up easily and has logical controls. Cost is high but the product looks and functions better than others. Would buy it again.

I bought this about 6 mo. ago. Very easy to install if you substitute with any electric cooktop. very easy to use. Easy to keep clean top. Very fast cooking. accurate temperature control. If you afraid to spill greasy or heavy melted sugar type of food you can place cooking sheet paper on the top of cooktop. After using this Cooktop PHP900SMSS few weeks I can not to think come back to gas or electric range cooking.

A good decision even thought more expensive

The induction heating is far better than radiant electric. It has been along time since I used gas but I think this comes close. Fast heating and instant on/off stand out. The control of the temperature is also good. You do have to have the right kind of cookware and it adds to the cost. Installation may also required upgrading the electrical circuit for it.
We have the stainless steel trim and you have to be careful as it scratches easily. I have experience.

We have been using the new cooktop a few weeks and have been very please with it. The controls are easy to use and since they are built into the top, cleaning is also easy. The burners heat up quickly and evenly - just as advertised. I would definitely recommend this cooktop to others.
