I have used my new induction cook top just a few times. But, I have enjoyed cooking on it. It is easy to use and to clean up. It does take a little bit of time to get use to the features and cooking time, but I very pleased with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick to boil temperature

The cook top is easy to clean and I should have bought this sooner. It is definitely a time saver bringing food to a boiling temperature so timing can begin to cook the food.

Great when works

Stopped working after two years. Touchpad went bad, which is apparently not rare. repairs are so expensive that at this rate it will cost approx 30% of the purchase price every two years. Which is steep.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gerat Cooktop!!

We were looking to replace a failing electric cooktop with gas when I stumbled on an article about induction cooking on the internet. After much reading we decided to try it - i.e. this cooktop is our first experience with induction. We were already in the market for new pots and pans so that requirement wasn't a problem. However the power requirement was greater than my old cooktop, so I had to run a new 40 amp circuit. After getting past that surprise, all went well. We did have a few missteps at the beginning (burned pans, etc) until we learned to use a lot lower setting than we were accustom. But once we learned how to cook on it, we have loved this cooktop. We have been using it about a year and have not one complaint. Both my wife and I do a lot of cooking and have found this to be the best cooktop we have ever used. The only possible issue is that we if ever have to go back to standard conduction cooking it will be VERY difficult.
