Maybe Best In Class

My research indicated that this is best product for my needs. My limited use of the scanner has been a good experience. The software is different from what I am use to but I haven't used it enough to rate it. I have scanned photos, printed material and 35mm negatives and slides. Results are good.
Pros: Compact Design, durable, easy to use, High-speed scanning, Fast Connectivity, High resolution
Cons: flimsy negative holder, could use better get start instructions
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nothing compares to Canon Scanners

My 8800F Scanner is the best I've ever experienced. Everything that was claimed it could do was true.
Fantastic shipping time: 2 days!
I've got my place of work wanting know more about other Canon scanner products for archiving all our documents.

Low Resolution for pictures! (600 dpi max)

I bought this a week agao. I can not get it to scan higher than 600 dpi. what a bumer!
Pros: easy to use, High-speed scanning
Cons: Low resolution

Terrible Equipment

The Canosacn 8800F was a disgrace, I used the product only 3-4 times in a year and it lost power. It no longer turns on. It went dead and is out of warranty and not worth repairing, image quality is fair.
Cons: power loss
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scanned once, then the scanner would not turn on. I can't get it power to the scanner.
