MX310- efficent cost effective small office device

This printer performs well in all capacites from Photo to Small production runs. It is reliable and efficient in ink use.
The ink is less expensive than a couple of major brands by nearly $10.00. Negative- hard to setup in a home/home office network as I have tried several times. Just as cost effective to buy second printer when one counts the lost hours in attempted setup son the local net. I feel the problem is in the vagueness of the instructions. Excellent printer.

I like almost everything about the printer, with these exceptions.
1. High ink consumption
2. The display should be tilted downward more with a back light

3. It is hard to keep the feed paper straight
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, fast print speed, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors

I am 56 years young and have had the opportunity to own a lot of different " all ine ones". This one from Cannon is , I think, The best of the best that I have ever owned. Every time I say " I don't think I can do this" the cannon shows me that I can and not only maybe good enough but the most professional looking project that I have seen. By the way that this machine performs, whenever I search for any other tipe of machine, I will see if cannon makes it and if they do, a Canon will be the one that I purchase.........Frank from Florida

Greatest Printer

This printer far exceeded my expectations. The quailty of the copies and pictures I have printed have been better then a previous printer by another manufacture I owned. The price was great and so are the prices for the ink. I would recomend this printer to anyone. Setup for printing and fax was so easy. Anyone thinking of getting a printer this would be the one I would recomend to anyone.

Great product

This is my 1st multi-function printer/scanner/fax/copier & I'm very satisfied with how easy it was to set up. Extremely fast print capability, quiet & very compact when space is limited. My only regret is that I didnt buy one sooner. I can highly recommend this Canon product to anyone looking to upgrade from just a printer to one with multi use.

A quality product

This product is a little slow to begin printing, but really goes after that. Quality of printing of photos is very good. I wish it had slots to insert camera memory cards. It seems to use ink more rapidly than other Canon printers I have owned. All in all, it is a good value for the money.

Cons: High Ink Consumption, no memory card slots

This is a really nice office/home machine the only cons is that the ink goes fast and the refills are expensive.

Still going and still good

Teh Pixma MX310 is a great printer. I came across this printer by accident, as another printer died only a few months after owning it (you could tell the quality was less than "standard").
While I didn't understand why this printer didn't have it's own ability to calibrate itself (many printers would for that era), I came to love the quality and the simplicity, and that's saying a lot for a MF printer. I am so impressed, that I am looking forward to getting a new wireless printer of the same series type. The only thing that I hope to see changed is the price on the ink; one of the highest priced liquids around (something like $10,000 per gallon?). However, don't drop on the quality of the ink.
