The ink cartridges cannot be refilled.
In this age of "going green" this is not much to my liking. Had I known, I would have looked further and paid a little more for the privilege of not mucking up the planet.
Also- the readout on the printer is challenging to anyone without excellent eyes. It needs to be a little larger, better quality LCDs, and set at an angle that makes it possible to read without standing up , leaning over, and squinting.
When I bought it, I was under the impression that the paper supply was selectable- so that I did not have to constantly change the input paper type. That would have been very useful to me.
The on screen interface is more cute than as utilitarian as it needs to be. A little too much distance between buttons.
Pros: Easy Setup, fast print speed

It prints in small letters even if you try to make them large than it prints half of the page. It prints too slow and it runs out of in very quickly. DO NO BUY you are wasting your money.
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Difficult Setup, Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, High Ink Consumption, unreliable, prints to small

when i bought this printer, the price was a good deal. It takes really long to setup, therefore wasting my time. It took a while for me to get this printer to work.
Pros: Compact Design, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, High Ink Consumption, ink is expensive

Best printer ever

I am very pleased with my MX310. The ink lasts a lot longer than any of my other printers. The colors are bright and clear. There is very little clogging or smearing.

It works pretty good, but the ink consuming speed is really high, the quality is ok, and the features are pretty cool, I recommend this printer if ur looking for small all in one, with reasonable performance

Scanner from stack ADF intermittent start

It's okay as an inkjet printer. Hey I got it for almost nothing with my Mac. But the function of scanning a stack of documents, which I find very useful and makes it worth it right there, has a strange thing that I have to give it the command about 20 times before it decides to do it. Haven't figured out yet what the trick is.

I hate this product

Other than e-mail, on line searches and Microsoft Office the main use of my printer is printing pictures. I take at least 100 pictures a month. The printing quality, of my pictures, is the worst quality I have seen. The color is off, the shading is horrible and the background looks like something out of a horror movie. I am returning this product. I have given it at least ten months to work out the kinks, but they haven't worked themselves out.
