FAX/JAM ERROR MESSAGE

Tried using my MX700 to fax first time. Got an error message with a warning light stating that there was a paper jam. I did not see any paper jam. My daughter has exact same printer with the same problem. Looked printers over several times and did not find a paper jam. Disconnected/reconnected printers several times. Printers are useless now.

won't print black & white

I have all new canon cartridge, rollers clean, prints color perfect, printer not hooked up to computer so it is not greyscale issue, it just stopped printing b&w and Nothing is showing up on error and the maintance all checks perfect. Now I have to toss it out, and cannot be replaced with memory card for photos. The new printers don't offer this feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
