Dry Basement

It would get 5 stars except for what it indicates as the moisture level in the basement and what three other hydrometers indicate is very different. As long as I understand that when it shows 63% humidity and the other three show 50%, everything is fine. It removes moisture efficiently.

Frigidaire FAD954DWD 95 pint dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit a couple of months ago and it is doing a very good job of keeping the humidity level down in my approximately 1800+ sq. ft. unfinished basement. Within 4 days the humidity dropped from 77% to 47%. I now have it set at 50% so that it does not run all of the time and it is keeping the humidity at around 49%. The only negative that I see at this time is the capacity of the water storage tank which is small for this size dehumidifier. This is not a problem for me because I set it up to continuously drain the water into a drain. I also purchased an extended warranty with this product just in case there are any future problems.

switch on and off and remove enough moisture out of basement. Too many options
and buttons to press.

Hello, taffy 12! The easiest way to switch from continuous mode to manually changing the relative humidity is to simply press the + or - sign until you reach the desired setting after you are done using the continuous mode. ~ Brandi

Water from thin air.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really pulls moisture out of the air. Can literally feel the difference. Needs a drain li e kit, ha e to empty it twice a day. Only thing I don't like is the noise level. Plastic case shakes and rattles. Needs better sound dampening.
