Works better than my Brand H "whole house" unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have in the basement draining to sump. Quiet and effective. Only thing I wonder about is that it doesn't seem to shut off (it is not obviously in the "continuous" mode) even when humidity is well below the set point by say 3 points. Once in a while it DOES shut off and rest, so I think that means it is not in continuous mode. More air flow and humidy reduction than a 2x size and price whole house unit also rated at 95 pints per day which has not been durable either. Have a smaller 70 pint Frigidaire unit that has worked several years so am hopeful the durability will be there too.

Frigidaire Stands Behind Their Products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement. The one we bought two years ago was not working. I made just one call to Frigidaire, and answered some questions and gave model and serial number. Two days later a new dehumidifier, just like the old one, was delivered to our home. We were very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our basement is about 2000 sq ft. It's about 3/4 finished. Had that musty smell that would waft upstairs and drove me crazy. Had it checked by a waterproofing company-no water issue, just humidity. Within 1 week of using this dehumidifier the smell vanished! We have it hooked up with a drainage hose and it has been working beautifully! I highly recommend it. Great value for the price!!

Good warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought original unit 2 years ago. It got an F0 error and company promptly sent me a replacement at no cost. Except for failure, unit is very good at regulating humidity in a large basement without too much fuss or noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought a 94 pint soleus unit but it was very loud and it vibrated very badly. I returned it and purchased the Frigidaire FAD954WD. The build quality is so much better on the Frigidaire. Very happy with the purchase, like day and night compared to the Soleus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my newly finished basement. Draws the moisture out of the air quick creating a completely different feel to the air down there. Noise is manageable. It does warm up the room a couple of degrees..
