Great investment

If you have a basement then you need a dehumidifier and my Frigidaire works great.
I have never lived in an environment where it is so humid. When we realized our belongings were getting damaged we decided we needed to save our things. I was very picky and compared many item. I like this Frigidaire model because it's big enough for our 1400 sq. ft. Basement and it has a adapter for a house so you don't have to empty the bucket.
When I plugged it in I noticed the difference in my basement the next day and I would recommend this product to anyone that has a basement.

A great upgrade

Purchased this unit in Sept 2015 to keep a moderately moist basement dry.
Right away I noticed a significant improvement over 60 pt models I had owned previously. The basement stays at a consistent humidity level monitored by a hygrometer separate from the unit.
This unit is significantly quieter than previously owned models. I cannot hear it operating at all from the 1st floor of the home.
The unit cycles on and off using the presets, and is easy to set up and operate.
I really like how the external hose attacumen is set up. You attach the hose to a fitting, which then attaches to the unit. I have always found the hose attachments on other models to be poorly engineered, either leaking or cracking and causing the bucket to fill.
I am hopeful this unit will prove to have longevity as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good quality unit that does what it is supposed to

I am using this unit in my manufacturing plant to dry up our floor after washdown of our equipment. It works well, and keeps the mildew off of our plant walls by keeping the high humidity levels down.

High quality

Very effective- I have a 2000 square-foot house and when this dehumidifier is properly placed in front of an intake vent it dries the house out. Was 70% and now stays at 30%, very impressive!!
