Purchased my first brewer in May 2010. It stopped working 6 months later. Keurig did replace the brewer and it worked fine for a few months. Now have the same issue of no power to the brewer. I de-scaled every 3 months and used filtered water as suggested, but the brewer still stopped working. I am trying one more brewer;if it has the same problem will definitely switch to another brand. Have been very disappointed in the short life of the brewer.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

I love it! I'm on my third brewer and it's totally worth it! They have a great warranty and I can't complain!!! I seem to get a new brewer every year and it doesn't bother me! I love the assorted K-cups you can have and the fact I can brew what ever coffee I want in my K-cup!! Coffee doesn't get wasted since I'm the only one who drinks it in my house!!
Pros: Easy to use, Durable, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

Daily home use. Keep it clean. Call Keurig about a problem: Expect offer of coupons to buy a new machine. Great until it starts to fail, don't expect support. If you love it buy a new one. I would recommend it to a close friend after explaining reservations and my experiences. Coffee pots/ makers fail after a few years just like all appliances. ErikErik

I drink about two cups of coffee everyday. I have cleaned my coffee maker and maintained it perfectly. I bought my kids each one, they all broke, mine was the last of the bunch and I've only had it 3 years, and now it is broken.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value, Third One To Break, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second Unit - first lasted ~4 years

Reveived as a gift. So for the first 3 years used for special occasions only. Then used for 1 year everyday when our regular coffee maker stopped working. Had to use vinegar cleaning 2 times - first when we tried hot chocolate. Then the Keurig electronics started to go. Then it did not power up at all. But I have lots of Keurig Cups so had to buy another.
Pros: Fast, New Unit Has Water Filter, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Not durable, Limited Cup Sizes

Versatile and Good Looking

Not only do I make my morning coffee, but I can also whip up a batch of warm duck soup for the ferret girls. Just place the frozen cubes of duck soup concentrate (make it myself) into the measuring cup and hit the 10 oz button and it's done. No more having to boil water in the tea pot.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Fast, Easy to use

Cup size is not consistent

Almost everyone you talk to with a Keurig has the same problem. Your coffee cup will not fill to the proper level. You have to set it for large which gives you about 1/2mug then set for a small cup and hope it doesn't over flow. This is an expensive price to pay for a machine that doesn't work properly

Seeing the negative comments really irritated me. As with any product there are going to be good ones and bad ones, that's just the way it works. I bought my brewer when I graduated college in 2009 and just today it stopped working. It has been almost 5 full years. That is nothing to complain about at all. My fiance and I love it, we both have one cup or so at home before work and it really fits are needs. I am searching on the site looking for the next Keurig product and I just can't decide!
