Noisey Pump

The problems started the first week with the first maker, it stopped pumping water on the 3 day. Took it back to store, they replace it. The 2nd maker has worked great for the last 9 months, just before Christmas started making loud noise. I have done all the recommended maintenance with vinegar and such, didn't matter the horrible noise is still there. When it run's now it sounds like a car with a really bad muffler, VERY LOUD. Still pumping water now so I guess I'm somewhat lucky! Would not recommend this pot to ANYONE, certainly not worth what I paid for it!
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast
Cons: Noisy, Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN

Dont bother buying this system

This is the thrid brewer I have gone through in the last year and half. All three machines have had prime issues. The first lasted 8 months, second lasted 6 months, and the third lasted 2 months. They are finally upgradeing me to a Platinum hopefully I wont have the same problems.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Platinum died after 18 months. I cleaned it, pampered it, then one day it never turned on. They want me to purchase a new one rather than replace the dead one. It seems Keurig is now making their units cheap and built only to last during the 1 year warranty. I was always telling friends how great the Keurig is, no more. They don't stand behind their products!

Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Does Not Last

Five Years Strong

I've had this unit for five years and have loved it as long as I've had it. Started out using my own coffee in the insertable filter. After Keurig went on-line and started selling such a wide varity of coffee I never went back. We make three cups a day everyday, only use bottled water and only descale it when there's a problem. I also use it every morning to fill my shaving scuttle, super hot water, the best shave ever. Any problems I've had come from certian K-cups not giving a full cup, so I either twist the K-cup a little to widen the bottom needle hole or donate those the to office unit. Looking at the new Keuirg's and liking the new features and larger water capacity. Concerned about the sketchy reveiws of the Platnium and Plus only working for two years if you're lucky. I've never had to call customer service and I'd hate to be disappointed with Keurig if the new models didn't perform as well as the older very reliable one I have.
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Versatile, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

So disappointed in this coffee maker. Its loud and will not give me a full cup even on the largest cup setting. Got this for for birthday and dont know if I can return it.
Cons: Cant Get A Full Cup, Noisy

I PURCHASED THIS FOR MYSELF SINCE I AM THE ONLY ONE IN THE HOUSE THAT DRINKS COFFEE. I REALLY LIKED THAT I COULD MAKE ONE CUP INSTEAD OF MAKING A WHOLE POT. IT WORKDED FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND THEN STOPPED WORKING. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND IT CERTAINLY SHOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER THAN 6 MONTHS.

I'm on my third brewer. The first two stop serving the right sizes and the third one keeps shutting off. Customer service is nice, but I'm loosing faith in the product. Very upset about this product.

Hey the customer service is great. Everytime this model failed while under warranty I got a new one. Just return the K-cup holder. On the third one now since May 2011. Prime errors every time. What would I suggest? How about making them in USA, at least the engineers might listen on how to fix it.
