Overall, I'm very disappointed with this unit. I have had mine for about three years now. I've lovingly cleaned it, used only purified water, descaled it on a regular basis and used only Keurig brand cups... only to find out one morning it won't turn on. No power, no light, nothing. I plug it in to a few different outlets to see if that's the problem. Nope. First, I email Keurig customer service, which on the website assures me I will be emailed back in 48 hours. I waited a week and no return email. Just a bunch of ads for Keurig in my email. Finally, I call customer service, speak to a rep who after taking down all my information but my social security number, informs me it's because I probably used unapproved descaling solution. What? So she offers to sell me another for $97. Does that make any sense to anyone else? The water quality affecting an electrical system? No! That's ridiculous. It's clearly a manufacturer defect, where something electrical has been fried. I refused to buy another machine only for me to have to buy another one 3 years from now? No way. I'll stick with my Bunn machine, which I have had for more years than the Keurig, and works perfectly. The keurig was nice to brew one cup at a time. But if it's going to break for NO REASON!! every 3 years, no way. You've lost a customer, Keurig.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are on our 5th machine and this one has now given up the ghost. Keurig has atrocious machines in this particular style. Dont know if other types are better or not.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use

I have been a Keurig fan for a while, and bought this unit after giving an older model to my son. Unfortunately, this unit is not up to the same quality stardards as my first unit. The electroics are buggy and it often shuts down unexpectedly. It also sometimes won't get to a "ready to brew" point in the cycle unless I take the water resevoir out and put it back in (even though it is already full).
Pros: Worksbut
Cons: Electronics are buggy, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A complete waste of money

Worst appliance, big or small, that I have ever owned. I believe that they must be pre-programmed to self destruct after ninety days or so. My first two quickly sprung substantial leaks, my third one got a short circuit and melted. My current one will not pump. All have lasted less than six and I was dumb enough to pay for two of the replacements out of pocket. Do not waste your money on this junk. You do, however, need a lower rating than one star. Perhaps negative stars, like black holes, for instance? Is anyone in the market for some UNused K-cups?
Cons: Fragile

No wonder they call it "Special" Edition

Worked fine - until about 60 days after I bought it. Now I have many problems - anything from not drawing the water from the reservoir - to not brewing a cup of coffee - or brewing double the coffee selection and overflowing the cup. I have tried repeatedly to clean the "Special" edition - but it is still a 'sketchy-at-best' coffee maker. Not reliable at all. "Special" really does describe this version! Poor production run or engineering...... Makes a great paperweight though. Do NOT waste your money on this one....either upgrade or get a mini. I do have a mini at work and it works great!
Pros: Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Does not always work, "Special" in a bad way
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still brewing half cups!

We're on our third brewer and once again, it only brews half cups no matter what we do. At least the customer service has been great since they keep sending us new ones but they're all defective. Maybe there's a flaw in the design with this particular model. I was thinking of buying the top of the line version and maybe that one would be more reliable. We love the product when it's working properly but so far it's been frustrating to own.
