Will not prime, pumps water into res

I was given this machine as a gift in Nov 09. Today is Feb 13 2010 and the unit no longer makes coffee:( The unit has trouble priming itself, however when it does, while brewing, dumps most of the water back into the reservoir through the little return spigot under the tank lid and wont make a full cup. I tried not removing the tank at all and filling it on the machine pouring water in slowly so as not to create air bubbles at the pick-up point in the bottom of the tank and still, even after brewing a cup, it will loose its prime and not make another cup. There is valve in the unit that seems to switch from filling the tank to directing the water to the K cup. I think the problem is with the valve. I will never know the answer because I will not be wasting hard earned middle class money on another sub par product like this one. Keurig, please get it fixed! or get out the business! Consumers have been taking too many hits for big company screw ups!

Quit working this morning will not turn on. It has been shutting off by itself during and after making a cup of coffee. [...]The coffee is great,I hope theses machines are durable enough to last more than 3 months!

Looked great, tasted great, but it's not reliable. I knew it was too good to be true. This machine is too expensive to be breaking in 6 months.
Pros: Looks great
Cons: Mine died in 6 months

THIS IS THE BEST COFFEEMAKER AROUND.THE KCUPS ARE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE, BUT I BOUGHT ONE OF THOSE SOLOFILL CUPS.I STILL LIKE THE WIDE VARIETY THAT THE KCUPS HAVE TO OFFER.I WILL CONTINUE TO DO BOTH THE KCUPS AND MY OWN COFFEE. THIS IS THE ONLY COFFEEMAKER I WILL EVER USE!!!
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Durable, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Originally I raved about this machine. It took a little time to find a k-cup flavor I was pleased with, but once I did I really enjoyed using my machine. Trouble is with it's dependability. I have had the unit for 9 months and now it appears it's computer is on the blink. It won't allow me to leave it's main menu to brew coffee and I have to "trick" it into letting me brew after turning it on once to heat the water, then off and on again to choose a cup size before it kicks me back into menu settings. I get better coffee with a much cheaper drip machine even though it is extra work filling the basket with grinds.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband gifted me the Special Edition system last Christmas. I have been brewing a great cup of coffee ever since. I clean out the water holder and all parts every 2wks and my machine is still brewing beautifully. In Philadelphia the water isn't great so I take very good care of my machine. I especially like the optional Reusable coffee filter that came with my system. I love this product. The only problem I recently had is that it's not as quiet as it used to be in the beginning, it has gotten a bit noisy but then again I don't mind especially if I'm on the phone or if someone stops by for a visit, It's my way of knowing when my coffee is done.
Pros: Easy to clean, Durable, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Noisy

Third ones a Charm????

This is my third Keurig the first two were replaced due to the maching not pumping properly, and constantly going into prime mode. Keurig has stepped up each time and sent a new one to me with no problems. I give Keurig warranty dept 5-stars for sure. I just hope this pump problem has been fixed once and for all. I have seen a lot of others having pump issues.. Other than my issues I Love my Keurig.. As long as Keurig keeps replacing the defective machines, I will be happy. My first one lasted abuot 7 months, the second one lasted 4 months, so the third ones a charm???? So based on everything I will give 4 stars on the rating of the Keurig

Accomdates diferent tastes in the household. Can have decaf and cafinated at the same time (almost). No more guilt about wasting coffee when you just want one cup in the afternoon. Very efficient. Brews a perfect cup everytime.
