Only good for two years or less

It think this could be an outstanding value if these coffee makers lasted longer. I painstakingly cleaned my makers at the beginning of every season as directed but they still failed. I had my first fail after one year and the second in under two years. I am now considering if I should invest in another or try another brand.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Not durable, HARD TO CLEAN

Okay, so I got this Keurig as a gift from my family during my deployment last year to Baghdad, Iraq. I, quite literally, used this machine every day. I think I probably averaged six cups of coffee a day and there has never been a problem. The Keurig has survived fluctuating power outages, rocket and mortar attacks, the silty, nasty dust of Iraqi sandstorms, and a move back to the United States. It is currently set up in my kitchen where my wife and I continue to use it daily. I often tell my mother (since she spent the money) that my laptop and my Keurig were the two most important things that contributed to keeping me alive and sane during my deployment. For what its worth, I love it.
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Stylish

Best Coffee Makers Ever

I have the B60 and B70. I also have a B30 Mini for traveling. It's awesome! It's lightweight, has its own Keurig Tote, and is great for hotel rooms. Its clean and you can bring all your favorite flavors. I LOVE ALL the machines and I've tried so many coffee flavors I can't count. No wasted coffee. No outrageous prices for iced lattes at "other" coffee shops. You can have your favorite coffee, tea, and cocoa (hot or iced) at ANY time of day and MAKE IT AT HOME. I even use it to get hot water for hot cereal, tea bags, etc. There is no cleaning of pots and built up "black stuff" in the water reserve. Minimal care a real plus. Run some water w/out pods to keep needles clear of grounds and de-scale machine according to how much you use it. Also, ALWAYS use filtered water. I use double filtered. The "**" filter on my faucet and then into a "**" filtered jug. The brewer also has its own filter, so I guess I triple filter it-(maybe a tad overboard, but my brewers love it.) My only concern are the pods. They should make them bio-degradable (if they haven't already). I'm a pretty "GREEN" person which makes me sort of a hypocrite because I use sooo many pods. I have at least 40 boxes of different flavors and I keep about 4 boxes of each of our favorites on hand at all times. My family thinks I'm insane, but I always have what they want on hand. It averages about 35 cents a cup (club deals, coupons, etc). Can't beat that! Ive read other reviews about the brewers breaking down. Mine can be quirky sometimes too. If it just makes the noise to brew, but no water comes out, it usually means an air bubble and just a small tap on the side will get it going again. Ive had the B60 machine for 1 1/2 yrs and it runs almost all day and night. So... maybe it needs a little push now and then, but it always works just fine. I may sound like an obsessed coffee nut...I am and my family depends on it. The system and number of coffee flavors are completely AWESOME! My only pet peeve is having to wait for the "seasonal" coffees when I run out. I LOVE French Toast and ALL the holiday flavors but I have to wait for the winter season. Same goes for the other 3 seasons. I have to stock up. On a last note, if your machine DOES break down, the Keurig people are awesome and will replace it with a brand new one (not refurbished) as long as you registered your brewer and it is still warrantied. BUY ONE and HAVE FUN trying all the flavors!
Pros: Minimal care, Makes iced beverages, Makes teas and cocoas, Coffee Anytime, 100's of flavors, BIG MONEY SAVER, Extremely clean easy, Endless pros, Brews fast and HOT
Cons: Pods not bio-degradble, Brewer sometimes quirky

Buyers Beware!!!!

My first Keurig Special Edition stopped working within a year. When I called the company they said it was out of warranty and that the only thing they could do is offer me a small discount if I purchased another one. So I took their offer. That second machine lasted less than a year too. Both machines died in the same way, they both just stopped working without any warning or indication. It made no noise and the not ready light was on. The funny part is that when my first machine broke the company made me feel as if I caused it because I didn't run vinegar through it once a month. Well, now what because with the second machine I did. Right now I am using an old traditional machine that I had as a back up after the first one broke but, I must confess I don't like the coffee as much as. Once you have a Keuring it's hard to go back. My dilemia is what to do now. Do I invest in a third machine knowing it will break within the year or just throw in the towel and go back to the old filter and canister type. If the machines where a lot less money I wouldn't hesitate to replace it once a year because I do love the coffee it produces but, at [$] every year plus the higher cost of the coffee I can't justify it especially in this economy. Hummm......Keurig when are you going to realize that you have a real problem and that you are going to have to figure out a better plan with your consumers. If not, at some point you might find yourself out of business. Most people aren't going to pay to replace the machine more than once or twice and if you don't get it right by then you will loose them. Not because of the coffee quality. It is 2 fold between the poor quality of the machine and minimal life expentancy. Add to it the fact that you are aware of the problem and in my opinion have not done anything to correct it does not look good on you. Also that you only send a replacement within time period is a problem. A lot of the machines break after the warranty. Not because they are old or misused but, because it just took a little longer for the problem to occur. If you want the customers to be happy you might want to consider doing more to ensure that happens. The public is becoming aware of the problem and once it gets out in the news your will have a marketing nightmare on your hands. I think after buying 2 machines I'm done. Simply put I can't afford to buy another and I don't trust it will be any different so what's the point. After reading the reviews I've also come to the conclusion that buying a less expensive model still at $100.+ I'll still have the same problem. As a matter of fact it seemed that they have more problems than the model I had.Buyers beware.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile

Good Concept; Good Taste; Bad Product

I love the one-cup at a time concept. It tastes very good, too. M husband and I can each drink our own kinds of coffee. I bought our first Keurig about 14 months ago. It broke down just before the warranty was up. It always sounded like a jet engine, but got worse and then didn't work at all. The company sent us another one, which lasted a few months before it simply stopped brewing. They sent another, and that got here in April. Guess what? Yep. It stopped working yesterday. Customer service is going to send another, but although I wanted to send them more money for an upgrade, thinking that a more expensive machine might work better -- they told me first that there is no upgrade plan, and later told me they had no better machines to sell me. I am about to give up on this company. We are a small family -- me and my husband -- and we don't use it more often than would be normal. But the machines never work for long. I descale once a month. I use the filters. I do everything but tuck it into bed at night! I am now looking for another brand that makes one cup at a time, for use after this next one konks out. What a disappointment!
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Customer Support Unhelpfu, No Upgrade Process, HARD TO CLEAN, No Alternatives Available, Breaks Frequently

Love it!

We love our machine! I didn't have a problem with it until 2 days over the 1 year warranty and it stopped working. The machine would not power on. Called keurig customer service and after a few quick questions was told a replacement would be Fed ex to me with in a week at no charge. The customer service was great and although my machine only lasted a year (making 6 cups every day) as long as the company backs their product and warranty I am ok with receiving the replacement.
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Easy to use
