Convenient, but not satisfied

I will say that this brewer is very convenient and great for our small office where everyone likes something different. However, for people that prefer tea it isn't great. You get a few grounds in the cup and it has a slight coffee taste to it. If I want tea I have to wash the funnel and run an empty cup of water then brew the tea. By the time I do all of that I might as well have just heated the water and used a tea bag. Also, the lifespan of the brewer isn't very long. It started brewing coffee all on it's own until it runs out of water. Just about three years and it's done. Customer service was very nice and offered a discount on the purchase of a new one. I've heard this from just about everyone I know that owns one. Unlike my home coffee pot that is used daily and is going on 14 years. Just something to consider.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Grounds in tea, HARD TO CLEAN, LIMITED LIFE

I am a everyday coffee drinker. A cup before and after work. Worked well at first but had a lot problems time after time. This was a gift from my husband and I couldn't believe for what he spent it worked so poorly. A cheap coffee maker seems to be capable of lasting for many years, basically a very long time.. Not for nothing, but who cares if you may have to throw some left over coffee out it's still cheaper then buying a box of K-cups with 12 in a box for $10.00 to $12.00 dollars... What a waist of money.. If your a REal coffee drinker this is not for you. The K is for people who want decoration in their house .

Cons: Slow, Constant Problems, Expensive, K-Cups are Expensive, Half A Cup Of Coffee, Loud

Danger - Coffee Addiction Ahead!

My son and daughter-in-law gave me a Keurig® K65 Special Edition Brewing System for Christmas and immediately turned me from a two cup a day coffee drinker to a 10+ cup a day coffee drinker. My wife does not drink coffee and it has always been a little upsetting for me to brew a whole pot of coffee for one cup. This Keurig is so quick, so easy, and so accurate at producing a perfect cup of coffee each and every time that it is easily the best kitchen appliance that we have come upon in our 54 years of married life. Thanks to my son and daughter-in-law for a perfect Christmas gift and thanks to Keurig for a perfect coffee brewer. It is so nice to be able to produce the perfect cup in the requested flavor or style in just seconds that it makes having coffee drinkers as company a real pleasure.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Durable, Fast, Perfect cup every time, Easy to use, Stylish

the electronic screen froze up , to read "not ready" I called customer service, no fix and it has no warrenty I have had it 20 months used very little. maybe 2 cups a month when we have company. So stay away from the more expensive one with the electronic screen. So the fix was to buy another at a reduced rate, this time I will try the elite. Less electronics the less to go wrong..thats my thought.

Temperature

I don't know if this is a typical to other K brewers (just replaced basic with Keurig 65), but my biggest gripe is the temperature maximum of 192 degrees. For serious coffee drinkers that's simply not hot enough. Unless you drink the cup immediately....and I do mean immediately, it gets luke warm in seconds (not even minutes). I'm going to assume it's a legal liability to have the option to offer a higher temperature maximum because otherwise it's a serious design flaw.

On my third K65 in 3 years!

I am on my third K65 in 3 years. My first lasted 2 years and water began going back into the resovoir and not the cup! Purchased my second one in September of 2013 and by May of 2014 (8 months later)the same thing happened. I use filtered water and clean my K65 every other month. Keurig replaced my K65 a week ago and I am now on my third coffee maker. Hope this one works out. I have spent over $350.00 in 2 years on these things!

Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

Game Changer

I use this product EVERY day to start off with a boost. It's an amazingly easy machine to run. It looks stylish & Modern in any kitchen. I WILL NOT live with out one ever again !!! It seems to be made cheaply for the cost of owning one. Only complaint is the fragility , especially the water reservoir lid. Other than that amazing.
