I received my Keurig brewer as a gift. We never really thought of buying one. We absolutely love it! After 13 months of using my brewer decided it didn't want to make a cup of coffee one night. We were lost without it! I called customer service the next morning and a nice lady told me after describing the symptons to her, the heating element went out. I was going to go out and buy a new Keurig that day. I didn't think my husband could make it through the day without his coffee! I had registered it on-line when we received it. Keurig had all my information. Even though it was a month past the warranty they sent me a brand new Keurig brewer free with a new one year warranty. Now that is what I call a good company and great customer service! We used our old fashioned coffee maker for four days and barely drank coffee it just wasn't as good. My husband and I are retired so we like to have a cup of coffee whenever we want. Always hot and always good and ready in a minute. We do not waste a drop. We used to pour out a half a pot a day so I don't see that it is more expensive to have a good cup of coffee at home. I really don't understand why some of the reviews have less than five stars. The brewers all have a one year warranty and Keurig stands behind it's product so a simple phone call would have got them a new brewer instead of putting up a bad review. We would give it hundred stars if that option was available. We are Keurig lover's for life!!!

I love that it's BPA-free. The water filter is nice. I reuse the K-cups to cut down on plastic waste. Just remove the foil from a used K cup, empty and rinse it, add coffee grounds (leave 1cm empty at the top), cover with tin foil (pinch under rim to seal). The hole in the bottom of the K cup fits over a peg at the back of the K cup holder. Place hole over peg, close, and brew! Saves money and the environment. The same K cup can be reused several times.

I love coffee and now I can have every cup with fresh, just brewed taste. I decided to try a Keurig machine after my "Old Reliable" machine from the last century finally gave out. I tried some other "single serve" machines, but I didn't like them for various reasons including cheap construction and hard to find single serve portions. This Keurig machine has proved to be just what I wanted. It's well built, attractive, and very easy to use. The coffee is always great, and you get fresh brewed coffee every time without waiting a long time. Plus, there are lots of places that sell packs made for the K-cup machines and the variety is amazing! I'm very happy with my purchase and now I plan to buy the Keurig RIVO system sometime soon. THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU Since I use a wheelchair, anything to make life easier is always welcome. I want to say Thank You Keurig, for making my life better with this great machine. It's easy to get excellent fresh coffee that I enjoy every time I have a cup.

I had always wanted one living alone and received this as a gift 12/2013. So far so good. Enjoy being able to make several different types of coffee, tea and hot choclate.

2nd unit will not fill cup

I owned a unit that lasted 3 years until it started to leak. I was given one for Christmas and had to return it to the store because it would not fill the cup up. I exchangede the 1st one for the same unit and this one does not fill up the cup it only fills it 1/4 of the way and sometimes half way if your lucky. Keurig needs to look into the problem of what is making this malfunction and resolve it. I would not recommend this to anyone until Keurig resolves the problem.

Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

Best thing to happen to me in college.

I love my Keurig so much I gave it a name. Just like Batman could not survive without Alfred, I cannot survive one morning without my Keurig. Therefore, I have named it Alfred. Alfred, like any good butler, wakes me up at 9:00am every morning with the sound of water heating up, letting me know that I have an hour until class and should probably enjoy at least one cup of its delicious brewed beverages before running off to pursue academic excellence. The quality of the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate Alfred produces is unprecedented. This thing makes coffee shops look like soda fountains at drugstores back in the early 1900's. The only complaint is that I have a huge travel mug that BARELY fits under the dispenser, but I place the fault more on the mug than on Alfred. All things considered, this may be the single greatest thing to ever happen to my college career and I am forever grateful to Keurig for making my dreams come true. And I feel obligated to say that I was not paid for this response, except with love in the form of liquid heaven.

Cant really tell you much about it never got to use it. I bought a keurig went home set it up it was missing the bottom part where the needle is. Inside it say no need to return to store just call, well I did finally got through and they said the would fix it by sending me the part. ok sounds good right well then they said it will take 7-10 business days are you crazy. It should be next day. It is there fault its missing parts. so yes I am returning it to the store next day not 7-10 days.
