Still brewing after three years!

I use this brewer everyday, and have had no issues with it. It's three years old, and this is the only coffee maker that has lasted this long. I have tried every other brand without the excellent results that this brewer has. Never a bad cup of coffee. I'm also thrilled you can now buy Iced Coffee and Iced Tea cups!
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

loved this coffee maker while it worked. I've grown addicted to my super-quick cups of coffee in the morning. However, I've only had it about two years, and like many others, the pump is very loud While 2 years is a good lifespan for your average, run of the mill drip coffee maker, for a coffee maker that costs so much, it should have a much longer lifespan. Difficult to clean. Others mention that there is a loud vibration when the pump runs I have the same problem. Since I drink multiple cups a day and use it daily, and want one that I can drain the water out of, that'll be my next try. If those don't last longer than 2 years either, I'll probably just have to dig out the old drip coffee makers and give up unless the price drops dramatically.
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile

Special Edition - An Unreliable Model

We purchased our first Special Edition brewer in July 2010. It lasted less than 30 days. The LCD Controller never moved off of "Not Ready" before timing out and shutting down. Thinking it was a fluke, we exchanged it for the same model at a local retailer. The second unit lasted 2 months, repeating the same controller fault. Hmm. I called Customer Service. The Customer Service rep was pleasant but unable to get a specialist on the line. She was able to put me on the call back list, informing me that someone will call me back within 24 to 48 hours. The Specialists must be either understaffed or overwhelmed. Based on my experience I'd say overwhelmed. I informed Customer Service that I plan to return our brewer before the Specialist has a chance to call us. This is unfortunate because we enjoy the product and the single serve convenience. Good luck to future brewers!

Cons: Unreliable at best

This brewer is fantastic! I am definitely sold on Keurig, and I love that I can use my ground coffee as well. It is very convienent, and gets used constntly at my house for coffee, and hot chocolate.I would definitely recomend this to someone!

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Excellent coffee maker

I'm not an avid coffee drinker but my husband is. I bought it for him for Christmas in '09 and I ended up using more than he did at first! I love that the K-cups come in tea and iced coffee as well. Great product!
Pros: Easy to use, Quick Brew, No mess brew
Cons: Cup sizes small still

best coffee maker ever

Ive had my coffee maker for about 7 months now and it works perfectly. I like the fact that I can make a cup anytime. I also like the fact that it also makes hot chocolate. There is practically no clean up involved. Tip for users. I always use bottled water. Never use tap water. I have not descaled my maker yet but I do know friends of mine who had a problem with theirs using tap water. I also bought an extra water filter which doesn't work at all.
Pros: No Mess, Easy Clean Up, Easy to use, Perfect coffee every time, Timers work great
Cons: Extra filter doesn't work

Love my Keurig! No muss, no fuss. Use everyday, perfect for my 1-cup per day habit. No waste, no grounds and no pot to clean. Great for serving several people who may want decaf, flavored/regular or just hot water for tea. Have had my machine for 5-yrs. No issues, works great!! I do not remove the water reservoir to fill, I fill it with a pitcher using tap water. Descale once per year & clean out top puncture needle w/paper clip regularly. I use Tully's Coffee K-cups from a Tulley's retail location near me. Love the flavor. Thanks Keurig!
