2nd time buyer

the coffee maker has many upsides, however the first one we bought lasted less than 2 years. First the reservoir leaked, then the electronics died.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Short brew time, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Lasts less than 2yrs

worked for 4 months

the first one i bought, i had to return because the plastic taste wouldnt come out even after running water through the reservoir two times . tried with vinegar then with water...so the second one i got lasted a good 4 months and it totally just burned out. doesnt even turn on. at least i got a good month of full cups of coffee. after that the cups would full up about halfway...id clean it with vinegar, it wouldnt help. then it wouldnt make ANY coffee after another month, clean with vinegar and still only about halfway...
Pros: Fast, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Didnt last long, Filled up halfway, Fragile, Funny smell, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Not worth the money

My husband bought this as a gift for me when I was pregnant so I didn't use this brewer that much the first year I had it. From day one it made a large noise when it brewed that eventually grew louder the longer I had it. At times, I was afraid the loud brewing noise would wake my babies. Over the past year, I have had problems with it not brewing a full cup. Right now, it only brews one size, 8 oz., and has descale on the screen constantly. I've only had it a total of 3 years with only really using the past two years. I have called customer support and completed all the steps they have asked me to. All they said they could do was give me a new one at a discounted price of $69.00. I'm very upset that a brewer that was nearly $200 (at the time of purchase) only lasted three years. I really wish the company would stand behind their product and offer a longer warranty. One year just isn't enough for the price of the brewers and not to mention the price of the k-cups. I loved my brewer until it gave me fits, now I have to go purchase a new one (which will not be this brand). From my understanding, after speaking with people I know that have a Keurig brewer, I'm not the only one with issues. I would love it if the company would stand behind their product and send me a new one.
Pros: Great For 1-2 Cups, Fast, Stylish
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes, Not worth the money, Noisy, Needs Larger Cup Size, Pricey / Poor Value

Not worth the money or frustration

After owning brewer for a little over 2 years it started to receive a flashing "Not ready" message and non of the buttons worked. Called customer service and was told it was out of warranty and that they would offer the same brewer at a discount. Took very good care of it, descaled it regularly and only used filtered water. Others have had similar unsatisfactory experiences with their brewer, as I skimmed thru the reviews, with the only fix offering me a discounted brewer. Many had several brewers replaced. Keurig seems to be aware of these issues but not much has been done to fix these reliability issues. Just wished there was a disclaimer that stated "Brewer will fail within 2 years but you can purchase another at a discount".
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN, Unreliable, Longivity, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful coffee

I saw these when they first came out and thought I would NEVER pay that much for a coffee maker. Considering after a year you usually have to replace the standard coffee maker. But a co-worker upgraded her coffee maker at home and bought her older one in for us to use. I was in love after the first cup! If you have ever had coffee freshly brewed in a top-of-the-line coffee maker the coffee has a different taste to it. Keurig has perfected that coffee experience. Thank you!

BUY A DIFFERENT BREWER

I have had 2 of these brewers and both have failed. They leak from the bottom and the overflow tube spills water back into the water tank. They replaced it due to the warrenty, the 2nd one I have the led quit working does not power on and leaks as well. I used the keurig cleaner that is reccomended for these units. To me they should fix this problem when in 2 years 2 brewers have died.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile

Love my Keurig

My brother-in-law got us the Special Edition for Christmas last year use it everyday and love it.Like the variety of K-cups,no issues at all.No more wasting of pots of coffee.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Fast, Stylish
