In home use 3-4 times a day. Have had 2 Keurigs, both broke down before a year. Expensive for the poor construction. The last one leaked out of the bottom and sprayed coffee from the spout.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would not buy this again. I bought mine just over a year ago and it died about 2 weeks after the one year warrenty expired. Looking at the new Vue system but the K-CUPS cost twice as much.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Less than two year life span

It seems like I've had nearly all the same problems everyone else has had. Somehow I've managed to push through them all. I suppose it's because it only gets used once a day. The little lip on the underside of the lid that surrounds the K-cup was cracked for awhile and now it has broken off. Has anyone else had this problem? I contacted Keurig this morning. After reading all the reviews, I suppose I can just forget about getting any help from them, since it's been over a year. However, they did replace a K-cup holder a while back. I enjoy the variety of the K-cups when I have overnight guests as well as trying them myself, but I'm starting to reconsider spending any more of my money on this brand if I'm going to face having to buy a new one all over again... My $20 coffee pot lasted 15 years, and was still working when I took it to [@]...
Pros: Variety of flavors, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Fast
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy, HARD TO CLEAN, Short life span
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

I bought the Special Edition Brewing System after many years of faithful service from the Original home Keurig. I recommended it, and three friends bought the same model. All four of us have problems related to a "short cup." We followed instructions for descaling and cleaning the needles and nothing works. My macine produces 3 oz. of hot water when I press the middle button. Don't buy it.
Cons: Noisy, Short Cup, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good coffee , low quality machine

Makes good coffee but the cost of a new machine is rather pricey for what you get, poor quality for the money sorry but this should be more in the price range of a $40.00 machine, as it is mass produced and nothing more than a regular coffee maker only in single cup form. I would recommend it as it is convenient, but think it should be a lot better quality for the price. Customer service is good so if your machine stops working before the warranty runs out you are golden as they will replace the unit without much problem. However my 2nd one looks like it is going to make it just past that point so not sure if I will put out the money or not for a new one.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Fragile, Requires weekly cleaning
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice but worked for 6 months

Great for the first six months, then stopped brewing, only brews a 1/2 cup, and prime is constantly flashing. Have to unplug every time prior to use. I have the Bosch-Tassimo brewer for 2 years, no problems at all. Keurig is replacing the brewer but I'm afraid this will happen in another six months.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't Last Very Long

Purhased one for office and home at the same time about 1 year ago, both have been replaced already. Nice concept for a coffee pot but sure doesn't last very long for what you pay for the thing. Extremly noisey even after cleaning regularly, sounds like a car with a bad muffler, would not recommend. Can't even get a full cup of water out of the thing now on any of the settings...very poor design and quality. Will switch to something else when both machines actually die.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Complicated, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned 2.

I have now owned 2 of the special edition brewing systems. Both of these have lasted about 1.5 years and have both failed. When they worked they were great and very easy to use. I was about to purchase my 3rd after my 2nd just failed, however after reading the rest of the comments I have decided to go with a different brand. Spending that kind of money for a machine that will only last a little over 1 year does not make a lot of sense.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Noisy, Durability, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
