LOVED IT - NOW HATE IT

loved it and recommended to friends and family and even bought it for gift for my daughter but after only 3 months mine isn't working.When I try to brew only a little water comes out (I use only bottled water and Brita filtered) When I called [...] about replacement they said to call Keurig who said they would respond within 48 hours - it's been 4 days and I still haven't heard from them
Pros: Loved this brewing system, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Quit working after 3 mos
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Nothing But Positives

Purchased my unit in Nov 2010. Have had nothing but positive results, enough so that 4 of my friends have purchased the same unit. I used filtered water to eliminate hard water issues. Descaled unit in March per KEURIG instructions. Lately,the unit developed a "grinding" type noise when brewing(this did not effect the coffee quality). I called customer service, advised them of the issue, and after hearing the noise, we now have a new brewer coming our way. THREE CHEERS FOR KEURIG"
Pros: Brews A Perfect Cup, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use, Fabulous Customer Service, Great K-Cup Choices

I bought this coffee maker at [...] and was a bit skeptical about whether it would be useful to me or be placed on [...] within a week. The kids love the fast easy way to make Hot Chocolate. The girlfriend complained about this machine being a waste and that she would never use it. Within three days she uses it more then I do. We used to waste so much coffee with our old maker as we made a pot at a time. I use it at least 2 times a day and having a different schedule then my partner this is a perfect solution to our needs. I bought this when I was living with a room mate who had a different schedule from myself. It was easier, wasted less grounds, and was easier on time for both of us. I used it way more than he did, but it definitely got usage. When I moved out of the apartment it came with me. It also fell down a flight of stairs. It still worked! We still use it in my new place!!
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Durable, Multiple Settings
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

Excellent customer service

We have been Keurig users for over five years. The first brewer was the basic model and is still going strong today - we move it out into our RV. We had a Platnium that worked well (tho' noisy) for about 2-1/2 years, then became unreliable. We bought the Special Edition in January and it already went out. To Keurig's credt, they tried troubleshooting the problem over the phone and ended up replacing the brewer quickly and without any hassle. We love the whole Keurig concept and the coffee, but Keurig is going to have to put better quality into their machines, or it will eventually cause people to get fed up and go to other options. If they could build a quality brewer, then I would give them an outstanding rating.

Cons: Needs quality improvement

When I first bought this Keurig, I loved it. However, only 4 1/2 months after owning it, it quit making the large (10oz) cup of coffee. When you push the button for a large now you get about 1 to 2 oz of coffee. The small also only makes about 2 oz and the medium makes maybe 4. It's very frustrating.

I LOVE my Keurig brewer! I don't know how I managed without it all these years. Besides my search for the perfect coffee bean for over 20 years, I STRIVE and seek out a scalding hot cup of quality coffee, and a pot that will make one cup at a time quickly and efficiently, and finally I have found it. I loathe stale, old coffee. Coffee begins to deteriorate very quickly when sitting around. This method of brewing is fantastic. I desire very strong, bold coffee, that's just my preference. Thankfully, I have learned that if I purchase the "extra bold" coffees, they have added more coffee to the k-cups, and I always use the smallest cup setting, which on my pot is 5.75 ounces. That is plenty for me to drink at a time. If I want more, I just make two cups, back to back and mix them together. There really is a setting and a coffee for EVERYONE. You just have to figure out what coffee or coffees you love (buy sample boxes or mini boxes), read reviews on Keurig and [...] and other sites. You can learn a whole lot by reading the "negative" reviews of folks. If you read all the negative reviews of a product, you can THEN cross out or cancel out all that does not apply to you and your desires for a coffee pot. This is always been my way to determine if a product is right for me, reading tons of reviews, especially the 1 star reviews and why. If my machine does not last, I will immediately purchase a new one or get this one exchanged. That's just simple, I love the machine, and I will always have one from this day forward. IT'S A NO BRAINER. Take care of the machine. It's truly a product that was made for me! Love it!!
Pros: Extra bold is perfect, Use extra bold AND 6 oz, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Love the sounds it makes, So many varieties, Hot coffee, Stylish
Cons: Too weak for large sizes, K-cups a bit pricey, Make carousels larger, K-cup carousels expensive

Great Coffee Brewer

This is a great product. For those of you whom have made comments that the coffee is too strong, using a large mug, simply lift the handle and brew a second time through the same K-Cup. The second brew mixed with the first strong brew makes a great cup of coffee. Also, you can reuse the K-Cup and fill it with your own coffee using the plastic caps from [@]
