Love Keurig, Hate this model

I've loved the Keurig brand since I first started using it 9 years ago in my office. About 2 years ago, my wife purchased this model for use in our home. It was great, for a while. Machine started short cupping, pump became extremely loud. Called up and Keurig sent a replacement. After about six months, same thing happened again, short cupping, pump issues. Once again, Keurig sent a replacement, once again, same issues. Another replacement sent, now this one has started spewing coffee grounds into the coffee, coffee is streaming out of the joints in the bottom of the brew chamber rather than out the spout. Time for another replacement or perhaps a different model.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Machine

I love my machine. I have one at home and use it daily. I love how it is so simple to swtich from different flavors to tea with a simple clean. My wife likes flavored coffee and i like Tea and regular coffee so it accomidates us both. I also have one now in my office in Western Afghanistan. Thank you for your support Keurig people are going crazy over it here.

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

This brewer is the best!

I love this brewer! I use it every day-3 cups of coffee plus in the afternoon-tea. I de-scale it every 2 months with white distilled vinegar even if the de scale light does not come on. Actually I have never seen it come on. The first time I cleaned it was when I noticed I got a partial cup of coffee instead of a full one. Since then I routinely clean it and have had no problems. I always use filtered water from the refrigerator but the area I live in has hard water so cleaning it more frequently is necessary. My old auto drip was the same way with very obvious scaly deposits and bad coffee. I have owned the Keurig Special Edition for a year now and will replace this brewer if it breaks with a new one.
Pros: Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

Needs some attention

When I first started using this product I was impressed. Soon thereafter I became less and less impressed. The pump seems to be faulty. Everything cycles correctly until the pump attempts to send the heated water through the system, it just fizzles out. The only way to get it to brew is to tap the back of the unit which allows the water to flow. It must get air in the system or something. This prevents me from using the timer feature since I have to monitor the brewer and assist it with the TAP. Customer service was certain I needed to clean the unit. I always maintain it as outlined in the manual to include regular cleanings. Has no impact on the functionality and reliability of the pump. Not impressed.

I love this coffee brew system, no waste

I am a new coffee drinker. I have fallen in love with this coffee system. My husband is now hooked too. I like the different flavors of coffee and being able to make ice tea a tumbler at a time is great too. I highly recommend the filter system if you don't have filtered water available. I am using both, filtered and the Keurig filter system. Great taste every cup. Now that I am becoming a several cup a day coffee drinker to keep up with my husband, I have also purchased the larger water tank for the B60 special edition. so much more convenient. I also bought the tumblers for iced tea and coffee. They keep it colder longer and help with the spill problem at my home office desk. Can't wait for the holidays and everyone of my guests can try it out. I bought two of the 35 qty carousels so there are plenty of choices. I made one for tea and one for coffee. Best Purchase I have made in a long time. I have found my new coffee and tea drinking to help with weight loss. Even the sweetened drinks are far less calories than soda. One cup of Chai Latte and you aren't hungry any more for only 70 calories. Glad I chose Keurig.

Best coffeemaker I have EVER owned!

My family uses the Keurig Special Edition every day--several times a day. We have owned this model for almost 4 years, that's right, 4 years! It is by far the longest owned coffeemaker we have ever purchased. I can't say enough good things about the Keurig coffee machine line--we love everything about it (except our model is loud). We have never had one problem with this model.

Great coffee maker

My first Keurig brewer...love it overall, but I find sometimes the cup fill level is diffrent from one brew to the next...sometimes the cup isn't full when most times it is. I do like the option of reducing the water temp, and setting a timer for on and off times. The water tank should be bigger. With 3 coffee drinkers in the house, it seems like you end up filling the water almost every time you want to make coffee, but this is a small inconvienence considering the speed that it brews a cup off coffee.
Pros: Temperature Control, Timer, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Water tank too small, Inconsistant cup filling
