I love it!! Just got it for christmas!! More convient than make a whole pot just for yourself!

Hoping against all hope

This was a gift from one coffee freak (me) to another (my father). My disappointment was my own fault. I had read that these brewers tend to fail amazingly just after the warrantee period expires. I bought it anyway because I hoped beyond all hope that I would be luckier than expected. Sure enough, almost one year to the day, the Special Edition purchased for my father's Christmas gift only last year (2011) failed to operate. Just simply wouldn't power up one day without any signs or symptoms of a problem. I'll be shopping for a quality press pot or resurrecting my 25 year old Farberware perculator which still operates like new! The company has not been helpful in rectifying the situation as of yet.

Cons: Broke Just After 1 Year
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

stopped working/no power

last week it just stopped working, no power to it, I called Keurig and they are sending me a new on, I use it every day and miss it! I Love this coffee maker, didn't realize how much until I didn't have it anymore, can't wait to get the new one. They are very nice to deal with.

Useful but not long lasting

We really like the ease of use and little cleanup, but the product starts leaking within a year of purchase. We make at least 12 - 15 cups a day so maybe the pump is just not tough enough to endure that much use.

Excellent Choice

Bought this unit for my wife, she loves it, and, so do I. Makes great coffee and Hot Coco. We have purchased the reusable basket which allows the use of your favorite off the shelf coffee. The only con is that it is a little noisy, but nothing that takes a lot of getting use to. Excellent buy!!

What's not to like

I think this is a great machine. I love to try all the different drinks that are offered. My husband loves the hot cider and hot chocolate. Not only do I have praises on the machine but must say Keurig has great customer service people. I have an older model that I was going to donate to the non-profit org I work for. Somehow between my house and work the plastic k-cup holder got lost. I made a call to Keurig requesting a replacement part,expecting to have to pay for it. Keurig took all my information and sent me the replacement cup at no charge. The price,ease of use,tasty product on top of GREAT customer service....how could you go wron?

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Great for my first one!!

I adore my Keurig and cannot wait to get an upgrade (mainly for larger sizes.) I prefer coffee (hot or iced) while my fiance prefers iced tea. This makes it easy for both of us to have whatever we're in the mood for in a particular moment without wasting anything.

Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

Great Christmas Gift

I think this is one of the most great gifts I have been given. I like that there is no measuring or messy clean up. There are many features to accommodate my use of the machine. I enjoy the variety of coffee and can even use my own coffee with the eco friendly reusable filter for coffee or tea. Over-all this is a great machine to own.
