Game Changer

I use this product EVERY day to start off with a boost. It's an amazingly easy machine to run. It looks stylish & Modern in any kitchen. I WILL NOT live with out one ever again !!! It seems to be made cheaply for the cost of owning one. Only complaint is the fragility , especially the water reservoir lid. Other than that amazing.
Pros: Convienient, Fast, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Fragile

On my third K65 in 3 years!

I am on my third K65 in 3 years. My first lasted 2 years and water began going back into the resovoir and not the cup! Purchased my second one in September of 2013 and by May of 2014 (8 months later)the same thing happened. I use filtered water and clean my K65 every other month. Keurig replaced my K65 a week ago and I am now on my third coffee maker. Hope this one works out. I have spent over $350.00 in 2 years on these things!
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

I would buy this product again and again

I use filtered water, so, have yet to change filter in coffee maker, in over a 1 1/2 year period of regular daily use.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Fast, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Temperature

I don't know if this is a typical to other K brewers (just replaced basic with Keurig 65), but my biggest gripe is the temperature maximum of 192 degrees. For serious coffee drinkers that's simply not hot enough. Unless you drink the cup immediately....and I do mean immediately, it gets luke warm in seconds (not even minutes). I'm going to assume it's a legal liability to have the option to offer a higher temperature maximum because otherwise it's a serious design flaw.

I would never have thought of buying one for myself even though several friends love theirs. The novelty wore off pretty fast for me. For one thing, I would rather have a carafe with several cups of coffee rather than dealing with single servings every time. For another, the special K-cups are expensive. I tried to save some money by using the reusable devices, but it was just more trouble than it was worth. I ended up giving mine to my son and daughter-in-law. They don't use it very often for the same reason. This appliance will probably be consigned to the attic storage or a yard sale.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Complicated, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Electrical Issue

When plugging it in shorted out the GFI. Tried all the plugs on the circuit in the kitchen, same results. Called customer service. Asked about de-scaling and cleaning. yes to all. indicated something inside that they couldn't fix. Unit was 4 years old. Said I could get replacement for $97.99. Hesitant on getting a replacement, because of it's noise and what's to prevent this form happening again. When you pay this money for a coffee maker you would like it to last. I did finally have them send the new one.

Another Great Machine!

This Keurig is the second Keurig machine I have in my home. I love it; it looks good and heats up super fast. You can program this Keurig to turn on & heat up at specific times but even though this feature is convenient, I don't use it. Why you ask? Because this wonderful coffee maker heats up so rapidly, I find an automatic program unnecessary. Another feature is temperature control. It comes with a default temperature setting of 192 degrees.. You can select two lower temps if you prefer a cooler beverage. I kept the temperature setting exactly where it was, in my opinion it's perfect. There are a lot of coffee makers on the market to choose from but you need to look no further, Keurig has it all. Keurig are the only machines I use or recommend. Thank you.

go with the elite not this one

the electronic screen froze up , to read "not ready" I called customer service, no fix and it has no warrenty I have had it 20 months used very little. maybe 2 cups a month when we have company. So stay away from the more expensive one with the electronic screen. So the fix was to buy another at a reduced rate, this time I will try the elite. Less electronics the less to go wrong..thats my thought.

Cons: Electronic Sreen Broke
