Excellent Home Brewing System

I am very pleased with this coffee maker. I recently purchased this one to replace the original Keurig that I purchased about 5 years ago. The old one was getting a little noisy, so I figured it was time. This one is much quieter and I really like the way I can select the cup size. I expect to keep this one for 5 years too. I'm surprised at some of the comments stating that this coffee maker is not durable, because that simply is not the case.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Fast

Fabulous addition to my kitchen

I use my Keurig brewer for coffee in the morning and again around ten am. Then I make iced tea for lunch and in the afternoon. Evening brews are coffee or iced tea for dinner, and then a cafe mocha or hot chocolate later in the evening. Don't forget that this fast hot water can be used other ways. I use it to make my oatmeal every morning. Has saved me so much time and made my days much more pleasant. Since I got my Keurig brewer, I have recommended it to family members and everyone of them is very pleased with the product.
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, 2 Years And Still A 10, Stylish, Durable, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use

Satisfied Turned to Unsatisfied

I received a Keurig for Christmas 2 years ago. I am the only coffee drinker in the household but I do drink 1 cup almost daily. I was completely satisfied and it worked great!... for a short amount of time. There were no problems for maybe a year. Then one day the 'size' option no longer mattered. Whatever button you pushed, the Keurig was going to make as much (or as little) coffee as it wanted. This often meant I had to use 2 pods just to get one decent cup of coffee. Then 1 month ago, the entire unit quit. No power, nothing. This Keurig sat on my counter and was never 'fiddled' with. I am frustrated because with the cost of the unit, I wish it had worked properly longer.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

well i use the karige at home and it dose very well in my home.brews coffie fast!!!. the things that are not so good are nothing ....

Just bought, thinking about returning

I drink 1 cup of coffee a day and my cup is 16 oz. I have to use 2 k-cups per cup. That's gonna get expensive. I recently bought a MY K-Cup and I can fill in regular coffee and just run through twice (10 oz run and then 6 oz run). BUT the MY K-Cup is difficult to clean out (the coffee grounds). Sure it accomadates all cup sizes, but not the ounces in whichever cup size you use.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

I would never buy this product again

almost from the time purchased it would not fill up to the proper cup size and now it cuts off after it is on for a couple of minutes and has to be restarted, very poor investment. I am looking at consumers guide to see what they say and offer my own comments. not a happy camper

I really do love it

I love this brewer. Between the variety of coffees and teas I can have at anytime and how quickly it brews, it is a wonderful invention. However, after having it for 2 months I started to get a message that said Prime. I went to manual and followed all steps. It worked again. Until about a week later when it said Prime again. That is when I called customer service. Customer service was wonderful however. The rep told me that my model was defective and within 4 days I had a new one.They had me run a test (no big deal) and decided it was defective) Keurig does stand by their warranty. I was a bit concerned that it would happen again and it did! So I called customer service again and they replaced it again with no problem. I am on my third one and it is now doing the same thing so I just unplug it and plug it in again and the prime goes away. It is a pain to do but I don't want to call them again. I wish they would sell the plastic little basket inside that you put the K-cup in because when I was cleaning it a piece of it broke when trying to snap it back in place. I don't see where they sell that as an accessory. All in all I really like it and hope Keurig can figure out why it keeps going to prime. I am a master now at cleaning it!.

Fast shipping! Good coffee!!

Wow, we're impressed with the fast shipping on this coffee maker. Ordered on Wed. and it arrived on Thur, free shipping. That's fast! This machine was very easy to set up and seems to heat faster than our original machine. It came with a water filter and a sample variety pack of K-Cups. I will have to get back to you on the durability factor, but if it holds up as well as our first one, we'll be happy. Our first Keurig is the original, plain Jane, but is still running after over 3 years of hard service. We decided to order a new one because the original is beginning to act up at times and we didn't want to be without one if it quit working. Between my husband and I, we drink an average of 10 cups a day, with guests, that number grows. We even pack our coffeemaker and take it to the beach with us every summer on vacation. Because everyone loves the variety of coffees and ease of use, it gets a good workout during vacation with frequent guests in and out all day. Here's hoping this fancier model holds up as well as its younger, simpler version has.
