16 Months - Now Dead

While I loved the coffee it made, it appears the power supply died today after 16 months of operation. For the price of these machines, they should be much more durable. My satisfaction with the quality of the coffee is greatly diminished by the expense of operation and poor value of the maker itself. Still debating if we will get another, or just go back to our old drip brewer.
Pros: Great Cup of Joe, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value

Unit does break down over time

I have had my unit for over 2 years. I read alot of reviews on how people had issues with the b60 after a month. I used filtered well water, cleaned it with white vinegar every 3 months, and dumped out the water in the reservoir when not in use. Unit stopped pumping water after 2nd cup a few days ago and this morning just stopped pumping all together. It times out and shuts down. Is the price tag worth 2 years of service. I think so, but fyi, even if internal parts were available for this unit, it would still be a tough install for the local homeowner.
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Programmable
Cons: Water pump failures

Coffee Maker Dies Suddenly

I purchased the "special edition" and it made great coffee for 1 year. Then no lights, no noise ,no coffee, no warrenty and after only maybe 250 cups. This machine was treated with the greatest of care and so I am guessing it is an internal electical problem
Pros: Easy to use, Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received a Mini for Christmas and recently decided to upgrade to the Special Edition because we were using it so much. Love the convenience of the water tank and the different cup sizes.
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes

Special Edition B60

I have had 4 B60's since 2003, they have upgraded since my first one. That was so noisey however it lasted for 6 years. Not one problem with it, at that time filtered water was NOT used. I hardly ever cleaned it and "de-scale" never lit. The last 2 were ok, but did not last long at most 11-13 months. I now have a Brand new one since I had an unknown problem with my last one. I called for help and could not "fix" it I had a wonderful girl who said they would send me another one! Oh I was delighted and thankful for this. They are making them different now. I am looking forward to my new one. Love it!

Easy, but had to replace after 1 month

This is my first experience with a Keurig brewer and I must say I love it! It was easy to set up, fast to heat up, and quick to brew a cup. I've used it everyday for the past month, but recently started having issues, specifically the "PRIME" code keeps popping up. I follow the suggested troubleshooting tips (remove reservoir, clean filter, re-seat reservoir, etc). It works for a while but then pops up again. I called Customer Service and explained my problem. They were VERY polite and apologetic. They offered to send me a brand new brewer, free of charge. I received it the very next day! I've only had the 2nd one for 2 days now, so I'm hoping that this one won't have the same issue.

Love the coffee, but has some problems.

I love the convenience of making a single cup without having to measure & I never made good coffee, myself. This makes a perfect cup. Having said that, this is my 2nd one. The first one kept saying "prime" & after cleaning it thoroughly, it would work ok for a couple more cups, then the same message: "prime". This current coffee maker has still given me this message several times, so the jury's out on whether it's going to hold up either. One thing I've thought might be helping. I used to remove the water tank & rinse it out thoroughly every night; fill it with fresh water so it would be ready in the morning. Got the prime message several times. I started just filling a measuring cup & adding water to the tank without removing it. It hasn't messed up since. But it should be rinsed out good occasionally, in my opinion. ??? One additional comment. The cup sizes are inconsistent. The largest size is ok one day; the next, it's only about half-full. Keurig, you've come up with a unique, great idea! Now you've got to "debug" it. At this point, I would NOT recommend it to a friend because of the quality issues. But if they were corrected, I'd highly recommend it for the person who just wants a single cup of coffee, not a whole pot, or for the couple that prefer different types of coffee.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BREWER, NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO KEURIG QUALITY, BUT ITS GONE! DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL CONSTANTLY SAYS PRIME AFTER BREWING A CUP. KEURIG HAS SENT ME THREE REPLACEMENTS KEURIGS AND EACH TIME WITHIN WEEKS WE ARE BACK TO THE SAME ISSUE. I HAVE AN OLDER MODEL BREWER WICH WORKS GREAT BUT NOT THE ELITE MODEL BUYERS BEWARE AND BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!
