The Best Gift Ever!

I'm the only one in our house who drinks coffee. With this machine there is no waste, plus it's quick and easy to get that morning cup. I often use the MY K-CUP with a breakfast blend and save my favorite K-Cup flavors for moments when I can sit back, relax and enjoy a yummy cup of coffee. The only fault that I have found is the help page indicates that the internal reservoir can not be emptied. While true you can't open it, the internal water does come out if you tip the machine at an angle. Unfortunately, I discovered this when I tipped the machine forward with HOT water still inside. But, now that I am aware of it, I'll just be careful to let the machine cool before moving it. I love it!
Pros: I make what I need, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Durable
Cons: Hard to empty

Not Built to Last

Just not built tp last! We're on our 3rd one in 3 years. They seem to last about 11 months. The only good thing is that they have been under warranty. Water pumps seem to lose sucking power. Great brewer when they work.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Not durable, Fragile

Best Cup Ever

I'm an Air Force fire fighter so it's hard to get all the guys on the same page when it comes to making a great pot of coffee. Now that my wife got me my Brewer, i don't have to worry about what the coffee at work is going to taste like in the morning. i just wake-up, brew and go. Pretty much all of my family has a Keurig Brewer of some type, so it has become the only coffee I drink. I have recommended this product to a couple of friends already and thankfully they followed through. Needless to say, they love their Brewers as well. I'm drinking a cup right now as I type this so trust me; you will not be disappointed with this product. Enjoy!

I researched single serve coffee brewers before making a decision. The first night my husband and I set up the pot we drank almost all the sample pods (wonderful idea) trying them out. I bought the pot because I"m a coffee person, and my husband is not. Since we got the pot, he uses it more than I do. The water is always hot, it takes hardly any time to brew a cup, and you can chose the amount of water that is used. We chose this model because you can buy the filters to use your own coffee. But ordering through the website the pods are not too unreasonable. Highly recommend Timothy and Gloria Jean brands. They have the best flavor. Our favorite is the teas. African Rubios is the best. We have had the pot for 6 months and have not had any problems at all.

After reading all of the comments, I felt the need that I had to post mine. I have had this brewer since 2008. My whole family loves it!!! We make coffee, tea, use the hot water, and are now making the iced coffee. I did have a problem about a year and a half ago that the water was not coming out. Customer service was excellant...I never cleaned it!!! The woman walked me through descaling, and cleaning all aspects of the brewer. It worked perfectly again!! I now try to clean it about every 3 to 4 months. I was a "coffee snob," had to grind my own beans and use my very expensive coffee maker. It now sits in the corner dusty!!!! This is great, because we used to make a pot in the morning...took forever, or on weekends, I had to wait for my husband to wake up. Now, we all make what we want, whenever we want!! If someone has an early morning...you can make your own quick cup and run out the door!! There are so many k-cup varieties out there...you can always find the taste that you are looking for. I have given these as gifts to family that always tell me that they won't use it......guess what?? They love theirs as much as I love mine!! If you were to ask me the negative, only that mine is very loud (however, my friends are not) and it would be great if the prices were lower on the k-cups. That being said, that is it!! I love it, couldn't live without it...and also buy my k-cups direct from Keurig. Their customer service people are great!!!!! Best purchase ever!!!

It's junk!!

Bought the first one 18 months ago. It failed after about 2-3 weeks. Brought it back to the store and they replaced it. It failed after about 3 weeks. Brought it back and was given a third one which failed. After the third failure I called Keurig and they sent me my fourth coffee machine which lasted a little over a year when it failed about a month ago. I threw it away and bought another. We are now 500 miles from home on vacation and expecting guests who like coffee. This morning the 5th machine failed. We're away from home with no receipt with which to return it for another - so I'll call Keurig again and see what happens. I'll probably go buy number six and return numbers 5 and 6 later. I can always empty the coffee from the pods I have and brew coffee in my old drip machine which still works after 20 years. I'm sure many people have no problems with these products. Keurig can't produce something with 100% failure and survive. I gave the product a 1 star rating only because no lower rating was available.

A real love - hate relationship...

I love this brewer and I hate this brewer. I love it for the single serve, great tasting coffee... but hate it for the fact that I've had to replace 4 of them in the past year due to pump problems and the latest had issues priming from the start. Keurig was kind enough to replace my defective machine one of the times and others I've returned to the store. After reading so many reviews talking about pump problems I've decided to invest in a Keurig OfficePRO. I'm hoping for a much better result.

Cons: Easily Breaks, Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

I love the many varieties of coffee that are available for this product. My husband hardly ever drank coffee and now even he has his favorites. This Keurig coffee maker is easy to use and takes little or no time at all to make the coffee. This is important for when I have to rush out the door. I would definately get another Keurig.
