LOVE it so far, but you may want to know

I can't tell you how much I love my Keurig! Initially, I thought it was giving me inconsistent amounts, but here is what I found: When I first read the directions, it gives you the 3 choices of CUP SIZES, which I had misread as AMOUNT OF LIQUID. Not so. Take note. I took a measuring cup and, sure enough, it gives you (consistently) the correct amount of liquid for that particular cup size. Also, you must take into account that part of the water will be absorbed by the contents of the K-Cup, which leads to somewhat differing final amounts. I have only owned the unit for about a month, so I can't say anything for the durability other than my husband looked at all of the models on the sales floor and he deemed this one the better built model when compared to the cheaper units. This one has metal working parts and a metal handle. I hope it lasts us for several years because I absolutely love this thing!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Stylish, Fast, Quiet
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Amounts are misleading

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Great coffemaker

I've owned my Keurig for eight months now and have no complaints. Can't comment on it's durability yet as I haven't owned it long enough to say but so far, it's performed flawlessly.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use

Best coffee maker ever!

I bought this one because it was the only one they had in the store that offered more than one cup size. I'm so glad that I spent the extra money! This is definitely the most frequently used appliance in my kitchen! It brews coffee quickly and quietly...in fact I don't even know the coffee is ready until I smell it. I also love all the flavored coffee available in the K-cups. I have not had any problems with my Keurig since I purchased it a couple years ago. I would definitely recommend one to anybody at all!

I went out on a limb and decided to use Christmas money to buy this brewer. My mom had a smaller version and my work has an industrial brewer so I knew the simplicity and uses of the Keurig machines. What I didn't expect was my 10 year old daughter LOVING it. She offers to make my tea/coffee and is always making tea for herself. She said it's her favorite Christmas gift of MINE! :-) I really like that I can set it to turn off so it's not wasting so much energy.

Will last about a year

I've owned 3 of these and they all had to be replaced in under a year. I love the convenience of the K-cups and love the single cup brewing system. It was great when they added ice tea as well. But over time, the brewer starts becoming tempermental and brewing whatever size it decides and then stops brewing completely. My new Platinum replacement brewer is on its way thanks to Keurig customer support. I'm hoping to have better luck.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love this coffee maker and received it has a Christmas present 2009. However, this past Dec. 2010 it started leaking from the bottom of the coffee maker. After troubleshooting with customer service today, March 21st, they are sendning me another coffee maker. Just know your warranty is good within a 15 month window(not just the normal 12 mo.). Good to know, right?

Great Customer Service

After 4 months we had an issue with our machine, it was making a short cup and the balance of what should have gone in the cup was going thru the vent and back into the resovoir. We contacted Customer Service and they had me do some trouble shooting with them over the phone to no avail. They immediately shipped me a new machine [...] Great Customer Service!! We really like the machine and the coffee quality as well. We rarely use the k-cups and use the adapter with Dunkin Donuts coffee.
Pros: Easy to use, Fresh Coffee

Its a different Machine....

People who buy this machine, read the directions...its different then other machines. I see those complaining about the coffee being weak, they make coffee pods for those that like large cups of coffee. The option is for those that want a quick strong cup or larger weak cup. I found the large pods in [...], I too drink strong coffee, its not the machines fault! There is also an option, grind your own coffee or get it pre ground (use a fine grind)you can make it as strong or weak as you like. I drink a lot of coffee, I have used a ton of coffee makers and this is one of the better ones, with the exception of the pump, 3 months and it went. I called they are shipping a brand new one out...no problem what so ever with the company.
Pros: Use Your Own Coffee, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Bad water pump
