We had problems with this brewer from the beginning. We always use a filtered water, but within the first month, the brewer would either overflow with too much water or we would get only 1/4 - 1/2 cup. We contacted Keurig twice about this problem and were told that it needed cleaning which we did frequently to no avail. I would not purchase this produce again, although I love the K-cup ease. We have since purchased the Breville and so far, so good.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Dispensing problems
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE my Keurig Brewing System! I bought it for my husband because he likes to drink coffee but I don't. So I thought it would be good for him so he can make a single cup for himself and not whole pot. Well once I found out that it also does chi, tea and hot chocolate I was sold! We both use it every day, in the morning and at night.
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

My husband has wanted one of these for a long time. I bought it as a family Christmas gift and he has used it at least 2 times a day since. He even uses it to make his oatmeal in the morning. He drinks hot tea everyday and sometimes coffee. The K-cups are perfect since he isn't a major coffee drinker! We love it and would definitely buy another in the future.

Too Noisy

This coffee maker looks great and relatively easy to use. It way too noisy. It sounds like it will "jump" off the counter.
Pros: Stylish

Noisy, then failed

Received as a gift last Christmas. Love the concept and the operation, except that it became progressively noisier. Stopped working last week. We were very disappointed. HOWEVER, we like that system well enough that we are going to buy a Platinum model in the next day or two. The new model is described as a Quiet Brew, and I hoping that it has a much more durable pump.

I set the timer for 6:00 am to 10 am and then the brewer is ready for the week and weekend to use in the AM. I will manually turn the machine on for Hot Chocolate in the evening -- WE LOVE THIS BREWER!!

A great machine, but not without flaws

I recently purchased this machine for everyday use and just after 2 weeks or so It started to have intermittent problems pumping water. Also seemed to develop electronic control issues. I am hoping this will just be a temporary warranty issue.

A perfect cup of coffee everytime!

I used to grind coffee beans the night before and prepare my coffee maker to brew a fresh pot of coffee for me the next morning by setting the timer. Each night I would have to clean the coffee pot, empty the filter holder of used coffee grinds and prepare the pot again for the next day. Now, all I do is add filtered water to the water resevoir every other day. When I get up in the morning, I place a K-cup in the holder and push a button. In no time, I have a fresh cup of piping hot, great tasting coffee. I will never own anything but a Keurig again!
