Luv Luv My Keurig

Had this machine for 18 months now and feel I can honestly review this product. Luv it. I use the k-cups and the filter to use my own coffee. Yes, it has a little bit of noise when it's brewing but it's so minimal and you do get use to it. I definately recommend this product. Besides,this machine is well worth the value and it gets used 3-5 times a day and has stood up to the test of time. I do wish it had a larger water capacity, but thats only because I use it faithfully.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Durable, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings

I have been using this edition for 2 years. I drink coffee 1-2 times a day. I love this product. I descale every three months. I do have to clean the exit nozzle every month too. The coffee granules get stuck up there, which hinders flow. I'm not sure why people are saying that K cups are expensive. I buy mine online and I get them for 90¢ per K cup. The Starbucks K cups cost me $1.05. I like the convenience of this product. I don't like that I have to clean it so often. It is very easy when there are guests over. It's awesome that there are so many manufacturers of K cups out there. Overall I love this product!

Cons: Noisy

Beautiful, Reliable & Easy to use

I recieved this as a gift from my father over 6 months ago and have never had a problem or malfunction of any kind with it. It has never required cleaning in that time. I use ONLY gallon bottled, purified spring water in it ($1/gal.). The best use of this machine is to set it for morning ON time and then turn it off when not in use. Water will be ready to use from a cold start in less than 2 minutes. I wish it had more (larger) cup settings, however, for a 12 oz cup, you simply use the smallest cup size twice. Best gift I've ever gotten! With the different types and flavors of coffees available for it, we are constantly sampling different k cups to find new favorites. We've become spoiled with the excellent coffees we brew and will never go back to brewing and wasting pots of coffee again.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Durable
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

Coffee Tastes Like Plastic!

I love the ease of Keurig coffeemakers and was excited to find that the new one was BPA-free. I tried the pot (cleaned it first per instructions) and all my cups of coffee tasted like plastic! Followed Keurig's instructions re: using vinegar to remove the taste. Still plastic taste. Then we looked at the reservoir and realized it was made of #6 plastic (Same plastic as the old fashioned Styrofoam cups that most resturants no longer sell heated drinks in b/c the chemicals in the plastics are released once heat hits the Styrofoam!) and that the reservoir lid was made of #7 plastic! Keurig indicated there were no replacements available made of other types of plastics. I'm returning this coffeepot as I do not feel it would be safe to use. I find it hard to believe that at $150 bucks per pot, Keurig cannot make a pot using safer plastics.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value

This is sooo much quieter than my old brewer! Like the extra capacity in the water container - altogether a great purchase

4 cups a day for 2 years

Christmas 2012 will mark the Keurig's 2nd year of use. As long as the brewer is purged with some white vinegar every 6 months the brewer stays reasonably quiet and keeps the brewing time under one minute.

Great coffee, easy to use at first - but periodically leaks, then won't flash as "Ready to Brew" - keeps saying "Not Ready." Finally gave in and ordered a VUE. Hope it lasts longer!
