Awesome coffeemaker

The bottom line to these coffee makers is you must use bottled water. Tap water can eat away the inside of the coffee maker due to hard water and tap water impurities. We have had our special edition coffee maker for over 4 years and have never had any problems with it. We are thinking about upgrading to a newer coffee machine.
Pros: Fast and Easy, Durable, Easy to use, Fast, Stylish
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes, Noisy

simple, easy to use

Bought my first keurig (special edition), and after about 4wks the LED display wasnt functioning properly- brewed just fine, but couldnt adjust settings. and then it kept telling me to 'prime'- even though i never let the water level run low; and i use the filters. called customer service and they are shipping me a new one. i say 'fragile' as a negative b/c of the early onset issues i and other reviewers have. i use the my k-cup accessory to brew my own beans. makes wonderful coffee, no waste or poor tasting coffee after sitting in a pot for awhile. hope the replacement lasts longer than 4wks.....customer service is wonderful! My operator was polite and friendly; didnt have me try a million different tricks to get my machine to work. very efficient. i gave three stars b/c of the issues so early on; but would still recommend only b/c customer service is awesome.

Cons: Fragile

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Stop working after 9 month

Had it for 9 month and it stop filling the cup 100%. On the 10 oz cup, only get 5 oz.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Fill cup 50 on largesize
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Brewer quit working...won't turn on

I've had my brewer for 2 years or longer and it just quit working last Friday! Attempted to turn machine on, saw blue lights quickly...then they went out and now the button will not turn it on. I had noticed that it was taking a little time to begin the heating process. I usually gave it a quick smack or two on the right side of the machine, and it would go ahead and begin heating. I am lost without my coffee maker. I haven't seen any comments on why it just stopped working. I will try to contact a CSR today. I have to have my one-cup-at-a time coffee brewer. I don't want any other kind of coffee maker. {{crying and don't know how I will live with out it!}}
Pros: Delicious flavors, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Multiple Settings, Fast easy to operate
Cons: No reset buttom

Love the Brewer, Hate the Problems

Like everyone else, I read reviews. I was very hesitant about getting the Keurig, but 2 friends have one and didn't have any problems. I purchased mine Aug 22, 2011 and by Oct 25, was already having the prime message appear. It would happen almost after every cup was brewed. We would have to remove the water reservoir several times to make it prime. After two different calls to customer service, cleaning needles several times, we have a new replacement brewer. Sure hope this one lasts longer than the last. Now, my friends' brewer won't power on.....she is waiting for a replacement as well. Sure wished Keurig would fix all these problems (common problems). This is too expensive of a machine to have all these problems. If problems continue, will probably go back to the old method of brewing a whole pot!!

Cons: Noisy, Fragile, Pricey / Poor Value

Reaching retirement, (and my 65th birthday) I wanted a special present for myself. My daughter had one, and when I went to visit her, I was sold! Good coffee is the love of my life and this fits the bill. Some friends said it was too expensive for a cup of coffee. I told them it's an excellent brewer, the coffee choices are amazing, it's there for me when I want it and I'm worth every penny. I am so happy with my Keurig!
