I'm on my 5th Brewer since Dec 30, 2009 - first 3 did not pump water into the reservoir, then machines would shut off. Keurig was good, sent out new brewers, no questions asked. The 4th brewer was doing something strange...nothing would come out when the brew button was pushed...it just stayed lit, then would turn off the machine after 5 mins of idle time. This time when I called Keurig, I had to jump through 20 hoops before I could get them to replace the thing. Fifth brewer is working good so far, but I'm only 3 weeks into it..they start to fail after a month. Stay tuned.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pros: Durable, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

Same story-poor quality w/short lifespan

After years of inexpensive coffeemakers, I decided to spend a good bit of cash on the Keurig. It worked great for about three weeks, then started to not brew, make noise and then shut off. Called customer service and was pleasantly surprised to get a live human being who was completely on board with sending a new one. New one arrives and no more than a month later, I experienced the same issue. Called customer service thinking they would tell me I am crazy, but they were amenable to sending yet another one. I asked if there are reported issues with the home brewing system and was told 'no'. Now after reading all the reviews, it is obvious they have a major manufacturing or design issue. I mentioned I WANTED to send the old one back so they could trouble shoot the issue, but the woman on the phone said to just send back the K-Cup holder and discard the coffeemaker. Based on the reviews here, can you imagine how much Keurig plastic is sitting in landfills? Not to mention the hassle of not having coffee while awaiting the shipment of #3. My recommendation is to simply buy another brand. Keurig - you have a problem and it would be wise to address it.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Pricey poor value, Does Not Last, Not worth the money, Not durable

Worked like a dream...for about 6 months

It was a welcome and convienent addition to the family. Unfortunatley after approx 6-7 months of regular usage, using only good bottled water in it, it has began to fail. It will not pump water from the holding tank anymore and shuts off after a minute...(this seems like an epidemic according troubleshooting forum's) I really hope Keurig will repair or replace it...if not...no problem, I will just buy something else similar and see how that machine holds up...but i really love the Keurig, so I hope it's problem is easliy and quickly rectified.
Pros: Stylish

Losing Faith

I have had this special edition since Christmas 2009 and I loved it the first two months of owning it. It worked flawlessly, but then it started having problems that only got worse. It is very unpredictable as to when it will work out not.
Cons: Complicated, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not a coffee drinker so I really have no use for coffee machines. With the Keurig I can drink tea or hot cocoa or just boil water. While my husband gets to drink his cup of coffee in the mornings! I love hot tea, so when I tried the tea's I absolutely loved them. It didn't take 5-10 minutes to boil the water for just one cup of tea. They have a great variety of brands and types. I highly recommend the machine! A great gift! Not only am I happy but now my husband and I both are happy!

Same Issue

We purchased this product about three weeks ago. Sure enough, the issue with the machine shutting off in the middle of a cycle has started. When you turn it back on, it takes a really long time to get back to the "ready to brew" cycle. I am calling customer service and sending back before the pump burns out. I am tempted to just get my money back because it sounds like this will be an ongoing issue.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Not durable

Buyer beware!

We have bought 2 units for our use over the past 4 years. Both models have been extremely noisy. My husband did call the company about the noise/vibration and was told it was normal. We have friends that own one and theirs are not noisy. We bought for our daughter/son-in-law (same model) for Christmas. Theirs is quiet. What is the secret to get a machine that doesn't make such a racket?? We would love to purchase one for your new camper, but are real hesitant to by a third one for our own use. Any clues for picking out one that is quiet???
