Quality No Longer There

The brewer, purchased less than 3 months ago, has quit brewing - the pump is not operating at all. This is the 3rd brewer I've had to purchase in less than 10 years. The first (a gift) lasted an appropriate time. The second, approximately 2+ years. This one, less than 3 months. The quality of the manufacturing has been drastically reduced. This brewer will be returned to the retail outlet where it was purchased, because I should not have to (and will not) ship it at my expense. With the first brewer, I was extremely impressed and so were many of my friends who subsequently bought them. Now, I cannot articulate how disappointed I am in the lowered quality of the product. I'm sad to say I cannot recommend the Keurig any longer.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Not durable, Pricey / Poor Value

Could be better, could be worse

We received this as a re-gift several years ago. The water chamber was cracked at the top but that's not a big deal. Because of the k-cup waste we personally don't use it much but do use it A LOT for company - the convenience of "just coffee coffee" for Dad, decaf for Mom, hazelnut for one person, bold for another, hot chocolate for their kids is really great. I try to use this for tea, but using a very accurate thermometer found that the water doesn't get as hot as advertised (doesn't come close to the temp it's programed for, which is the max. temp). so it can only be used for green tea that needs cooler water and not for black tea (I generally don't use the tea k-cups, again because of the waste issue). So the primary use that I would use it for - heating water - doesn't cut it. Still, it's so handy for the company that we do have that we'll keep at it and likely replace it when it dies. In the meantime, I'm off to shop for an electric tea kettle.
Pros: Easy to use, Good For Company
Cons: Fragile, Water not hot enough

Don't judge a book by its cover or price

I have 2 keurig machines, one single cup and one special editions. I am very unhappy with the special edition. It only worked for two years. Now I am having to pay more money for another keurig machine. To be fair it is at a discounted price, with that said as much as these machines cost they should last,at least, as long as a high end coffee maker drip model with a water resivor. Will I buy another keurig? No! Will I recommend one to my friends? No! Too expensive and not durable! Oh, my single cup maker I have had it for 5 years it works great. By the way keurig I have never descaled it and before I got my first special edition I used it daily. I use filtered water all the time on both machines. I don't bite the one about me not taking care of my machine! Listen and learn!
Pros: Machine Only Worked For 2, Years, Charged 2 Times I Have, To Pay For A Replacement, Not Any Because I Am Bein

Very Unsatisfied - won't buy one again

I'm an absolute coffee fan, but when my Keurig has been descaled, cleaned, and well maintained and STILL wont brew a full 10 oz cup when I click that button - It makes me furious that I've paid this much money for something that does not work.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Complicated, Won't Fill Full Cup, Fragile, HARD TO CLEAN, Pricey / Poor Value, Noisy

I was one of the lucky people who Keurig chose to receive this coffee maker as a gift. It showed up at my doorstep and I've got to say: I LOVE it. So so easy and fast (and makes the house smell heavenly). We purchase the Bold coffees as they are strong enough for 2 cups from one K-cup. My hubbie takes the first one which is stronger, and I take the second as it is a little weaker, which I like. I have tried the hot chocolate and tea too: Yum! All I can say is thanks Kuerig for making my day!

I Love My Special Addition

I use this machine 5 times a day. Never have had a problem with it. My only problem is the coffee is just not hot enough for me. Otherwise, perfect for every day use.
Pros: Fast, Multiple Settings

Very Weak Coffee

I just purchased the K65 special edition to replace a similar Keurig that I had for 5 years. I have used this brewer for a few days now and it makes a very weak cup of coffee. There is no comparison to my old Keurig. I am extremely disappointed. I don't know if it is a defect in the specific brewer that I purchased or they are all like this now. I will be returning it, and I am not too sure I will be purchasing another one.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use
Cons: Lousy Coffee
