Expected it to last longer

We've had our Elite for almost three years. We use the My K-Cup and have loved the brewer until the last few months. The water will not completely brew through the K-Cup. This results in an unpleasant tasting cup of coffee. When you open the K-Cup compartment to remove the My-K cup, the residual water pours out the bottom of the k-cup holder. The machine has been descaled properly, but the descale notification stays on constantly, now. I have descaled it three times in one week and I still get the descale message. For the money, I expected this machine to last a lot longer. Don't know if I will buy this again.

Got ours for Christmas, started having problems after about 5 months - stuck on "brewing", same cup size regardless of selection...called customer service, they had me do what the manual says, it didn't fix it so they are sending me a new one...nice and easy!! Appreciate their willingness to listen to the problems, troubleshoot, and solve.
Pros: Easy to use

Started strong, slowly fading

It started strong but after a few months of use, it began acting up. Randomly shuts off in the middle of a bew, doesn't give a full cup of coffee.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Easy to use

I AM NOT A COFFEE DRINKER BUT MY GUESTS USUALLY ARE.THEY LOVE THE TASTE OF THE COFFEE AND THE SIMPLE AND FAST WAY IT IS BREWED. MY 91 YEAR OLD MOTHER-IN-LAW HAS EASILY FIGURED IT OUT, I AM GOING TO ORDER A KEURIG FOR HER HOME USE.

On New Years, I spent the night at a friends. She received the Platinum for Christmas from her fiancee, and wow! I didn't even know it existed. I loved it. So about a month ago I bought my own. My boyfriend kept asking why I'd spend so much on a coffee maker, but once he tried it out, he liked it. He uses it to make the occasional cup of coffee, Cup of Noodles, and cocoa. I love the thing! I even bought an ice tumbler so that I could make coffee (BTW, Southern Pecan makes DELICIOUS iced coffee). I used it for tea (I'm not even a tea drinker) and the variety offered here are excellent. It's easy to fill and use. I live with my parents in an attic-turned-studio apartment, so I hated going downstairs at 6:30am, cold and wet from a shower, just to get a cup of coffee -- and sometimes, there wouldn't be any for me, so I'd have to wait 20 minutes for their busted coffee maker to brew. Now, I get out of the shower, hit a magical button, and presto! Delicious coffee. I do wish I had the machine with a travel mug size option, but if I really want a bigger cup, I'll just brew the K-Cup twice on medium or small. Normally, the large is perfect for what I'm craving (you get enough room for creamer, since I like my coffee white). Overall, love it!

I've had two Keurig brewers

I am on my second brewer and I love the coffee. I have had problems with the brewers breaking. I don't think they are durable but I love the one cup at a time concept so much I have put up with the brewers acting up. I will say that customer service was so unhelpful that I just went and bought another one. They are expensive and I think I have bought my last one. When the one I have now dies I will not replace it.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Limited Cup Sizes, Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

5 years, an overseas move/still kickin

I don't understand all the people with Keurig issues. I have had this Keurig for 5+ years now and took it to Japan for 3 years. Only issue I ever had with it was likely due to trying to use a machine that requires a lot of current to heat water, on a different electrical current than the US. Figured I killed the machine but when I brought it back to the US and plugged it in, it picked right back up. Been brewing again for the past year. I am upgrading my system but this Keurig is staying with me.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Durable
