After buying this unit for my wife for Xmas '09 we found that the ease of use was perfect. Today I called cust service because the water level was less that normal for the first cup or two. The unit was out of warr. IT DIDN"T MATTER! The rep spent 1 hour going thru extra cleaning steps and seems to have solved the prob. The rep was what we all wish for, she spoke English, was precise and patient with her inst. Coffee makers are a dime a dozen but companies that care like this are rare and welcome. I would buy their products for this reason alone.
Pros: Easy to use, Durable, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Cup of Coffee - But a Little Noisy
on March 1, 2011

Besides being a smidge noisy upon my first use of this dispenser in a quiet home setting, I have like utilizing this machine when I have visited friends and family members that have a Keurig dispenser. Furthermore, I have been an avid coffee drinker ever since I can remember. I have mainly used a 4-cup coffee maker because I was usually the only one in my household that drinks coffee more frequently than once a day. I have been wanting a Keurig coffeemaker since Green Mountain first introduced them, but they were a little pricey. Now that I have one I utilize it several times a day! Mainly I drink coffee since I am a fairly new owner of my first K-cup brewer. I love a more unique coffee blends because my pallet prefers a more robust, bolder flavor than the standardized, everyday coffees that you can get in 98% of the supermarkets today. I love to mix and match coffee flavors. For example, I will frequently combine Newman's Own Organic Extra Bold with Green Mountain's Hazelnut Light Roast coffee, or a Breakfast Blend with a Hazelnut Light Roast (both from Green Mountain). I am looking forward to trying, when my coffee stash runs low, the Extra Bold Hazelnut from Green Mountain as well as other bolder varieties of coffees from other manufactures, within the near future. I like to keep my tastebuds "hopping and guessing"! :) More often times than not, I am preferable to a more bolder coffee style. This brewer seems the best way I know how to experiment on mixing and matching flavors of coffee that are unique to me. I will never get tired of finding new ways to drink this marvelous elixir. The Keurig makes this possible to do. This will not be my last K-Cup coffeemaker I purchase. By the way.... I retired my 4-cup coffeemaker..... ON ANOTHER NOTE: For all the new owners out there make sure you DE-SCALE your brewer if you tend NOT to use filtered water more often than 3~6 months as the Owner's Manual states...you'll have less "short-cupping". I clean mine twice a month regardless of whether or not the display says "DE-SCALE" on it or not. Second, it is a good idea that if you are an avid Hot Chocolate drinker that you ALWAYS run another cycle of hot water through the unit after you get done making your Hot Chocolate so as not to have to take a paper clip and constantly clean the dispenser pin-spout when the Hot Chocolate decides to solidify and clog the dispenser hole. Hope this helps....ENJOY!
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Own Coffee K-cup holder, Durable, Timesaver, Saves money
Cons: Little noisy, Limited Cup Sizes

Good Machine!

This machine is a good match for me-I use it 3-5 times a day (more if I have company!) I've never had any issues or problems in the 2+ years I've owned it. It does tend to be loud while brewing, but it's not obnoxious.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Loud

Disappointed!

For the occasional cup of coffee this is a good concept. For those of us who want a 16 oz of coffee and more than 1 in an hour this is a waste! Add to that $0.85 per cup of coffee and the larger the cup the weaker the coffee. Plus the machine has stopped working after only 30 days! Water won't prime and to use you MUST unplug to reset. Calls to support are not returned and now that we are past 30 days we cannot return to the store. Very expensive piece of junk wasting counter space!
Cons: Not durable, Limited Cup Sizes, Now Stuck, Poor Quality, Stopped Working Properly, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Junk, Not Supported, Routinely FAILS

A very frustrating and nearly useless piece of gear. The two of us drink 8-12 cups of coffee per day, each. Of which 1-4 cups come from this Keurig maker as it's continued failure results in plugging the ole percolator back-in. This unit was replaced happily under warranty the first time, Keurig became argumentative the 2nd time. The 3rd time they forced us to go thru repetitive descaling, cleaning, resetting, recalibrating techniques until we were just sick of calling support! We purchased another unit at [...] and it stopped working in 2 weeks (SAME SYMPTOMS)! Randomly delivers amounts of coffee regardless of setting chosen. Begins to brew but then kicks back off saying "not ready", starts brewing then simply stops before one drop of coffee reaches the cup. We have lost a lot of money in k-cups by having to throw approx 35% of them away from failed brews. This has been a pathetic experience. We purchased this maker by recommendation from a few friends, however, 5 of the 7 friends of ours is having very similar issues. From wasted money on the original purchases, additional makers purchased on our own due to failure of Keurig supporting their warranty claiming operator error the most likely cause, to losses from wasted k-cups and even shipping due to Keurig mandating certain components be shipped-back to prove ownership! What is that about?? Like the Registration process is now useless too?? Believe us when we say these units and this company have both been less than impressive. However, when it is working, the coffee is great and the concept is superb. Thank you for the occasional use we managed thus far. Good luck on yours. We have heard that a few of the makers do really well and take a beating. Hopefully, that type of positive experience comes to you as well.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Requires Frequent Resets, Frequent Recalibration, Sporadic Behavior, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
