Love drinking the coffee---but

I received my Keurig Special Edition as a gift in late April, and then started having issues with it not brewing a full cup in early September. I always used filtered water, and I de-scaled, cleaned needles, all to no avail. Lots of water coming out vent that should have been going into my cup. I must say that the customer service was excellent, and they are shipping me a new Keurig with no problems. But I am disappointed that the original machine was not more durable, and only lasted about five months. This points to poor design or low-quality manufacture. So I recommend for delicious brewed coffee and teas, but BE SURE TO REGISTER PRODUCT!
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Multiple Settings
Cons: Poor durability, Fragile

Thanks to Keurig for PROMTLY sending a relacement brewer!! However the Costco model B60 Special edition is no longer made, I have been sent a downgraded model B60;(no chrome accents) Cost difference to me about $100.00.. I think I should have been offered the Platinum Keurig,which more accuratly looks like the one that malfunctioned; (holds more water in resevoir.) Bottom line ; KEURIG is there ,in person if you need them.I am disapointed......

My Wife and I use this coffee maker everyday. It takes two medium brews to fill my average size travel mug. The coffee is not a strong as I would prefer when using our own coffee, but is somehow better when using the "K-Cups". I like the speed that it brews and the ability to set the temperature. But this thing has been a maintenance nightmare since we bought it. We have had three different cup inserts (the thing you buy to use your own coffee instead of the K-Cups) and two different gaskets to create the proper seal, it would leak water all over. Then a few months ago it started making very loud noises when it would draw water from the tank and brew. The actual brew speed slowed substantially, it started taking 3 to 5 times longer per cup. Then one day... it just stopped. It still makes noises and the lights turn on, just no more coffee. We have owned this brewer for approximately eight months!? Keurig Customer service has been EXCELLENT! they have always been understanding and helpful and provided us with corrective action at no cost. Now they are sending us an entire new brew machine. I think the company and it's employees are great... I just wish they made a coffeemaker that could stand up to everyday use.

6 month old unit - can't make the large size any longer - only the medium size cup. Cleaned unit - still the same. The idea is great but for the price - not sure if it is worth the hassle. Not that quiet of a unit. Purchased a small single cup unit, it takes a little time to heat water - but at least it knows how to do it.
Pros: Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you only want a cup or two this is perfect. I take a coffee then a dark hot chocolate in the same glass with some milk and pour it over ice. Its quick, easy and clean.

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

I can't say enought good about this maker. It is just simpley the best. After buying a home brewer we have just purchased a mini for our RV. We love it. I am now refering my friends who may be interested in this unit[s] and like only the Best coffee you can buy.

I loved my keurig when I got it as a gift. It worked great and I liked not having to clean a coffee pot. The coffee was a little weak but the convenience of it was helpful for my busy work schedule. After a few months, it got very loud, shut off, and wouldn't brew the correct amount of coffee... similar to problems with other reviewers. I wish I had known about all of the problems - I would have returned it. Ended up not being convenient at all! The descaling takes forever and I have to run water through it ~ 12 times to get the vinegar taste out. The idea of it is great- but Keurig needs to improve the product so that it actually works. Keurig is replacing my brewer, however, I am not convinced that it will work any better.
