Noisy - Can hear it in the bedroom!

This unit is very loud heating water at start-up. Bubbles and gurgles until water is heated - "Quiet Brew Technology". Ha! Wakes up my wife sleeping in the bedroom. Trying to found out if normal. E-mailed Keurig and they told me to call. Called and Customer Service transferred me to the Brewing Division! I give up.
Cons: Noisy

Machine is dead after 8 months of use.

My wife and I make 8-10 cups a day in this brewer. We love the convenience and the ability to choose flavors for an individual cup. It is a great idea! This brewer simply did not hold up. After 8 months of use it is completely dead. It will not even power up. We will buy the next model up hoping that it can hold up. Would not recommend this one based on our volume experience.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

Good while it lasts

I loved this coffee maker while it worked. I've grown addicted to my super-quick cups of coffee in the morning. I'm one of those people who needs at least 2 cups of coffee just to get moving in the morning, so this is much better than waiting around for a drip maker to brew. However, I've only had it about two years, and like many others, the pump has given up functioning. While 2 years is a good lifespan for your average, run of the mill drip coffee maker, for a coffee maker that costs so much, it should have a much longer lifespan. I also have never been comfortable with the idea that I can't get inside to clean it or drain water out if I'm going away and not using it for a few days or weeks. Others mention that there is a loud vibration when the pump runs. Most of it is from vibrating on the countertop. Placing a rubber mat or small towel under the unit makes it noticeably quieter. But, it's probably not good for a small apartment shared with light sleepers. If you like strong coffee, this also may not be the brewer for you. Even using the extra-bold k-cups, it's hard to get a really strong cup. Basically, you trade in speed and convenience for quality. This is much more for the "I need my coffee and I need my coffee now" crowd than those who like to just savor a strong cup of high quality coffee. You're never going to get the strength out of a quick brewed cup. Now that mine has given up on the pump, I'm going to try a model made for small offices instead. Since I drink multiple cups a day and use it daily, and want one that I can drain the water out of, that'll be my next try. If those don't last longer than 2 years either, I'll probably just have to dig out the old drip coffee makers and give up unless the price drops dramatically.
Pros: Fast brewing, Easy to use
Cons: Short lifespan, HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile

This is one of the best things i ever bought. I really enjoy the variety of coffees i could have without even having to add anything to them. The only thing i wish was different is that i wish i could brew bigger cups but other than that i LOVE it!!!!!!
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

Have used the brewer 4 or 5 times a day for almost 2 years. Put the regular coffee maker away. Must say the Green Mountain coffee is excellent and there is a good selection of fair trade, organic and specialty coffees. Got used to the noise, even though it would wake the kids some mornings. Super convenient for when you want a coffee to go, and sure beats waiting in line at the drive-thru. Cleaned and descaled religiously, used filtered water... and it stopped working anyway. When I do the math, all told it was still cheaper than buying a cup of coffee (or two) every day over that time, but who wants to throw one of these out every 18 - 24 months? What can I say - other than I'm truly disappointed.
Pros: Fast, Great tasting coffee, Easy to use

We got one of these machines at work a few years ago and I fell in love with it! My husband bought it for me that year for Christmas. He isn't a coffee drinker and hates the smell of it in the morning. This coffee smells great but you don't get the whole pot brewing smell so it works perfectly for me!! However, I woke up the other morning and it simply wouldn't turn on!! I called customer service and they sent a new one right out...no questions asked! The cheaper model that we have in the office is pretty loud when it brews but mine is the more expensive one and it is perfectly quiet!
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Durable, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
