Expensive and worthless

I'm on my second brewer in 2 weeks and WILL NOT buy another one by Keurig! Both brewers did the same thing...states that it's brewing and fails to brew. Water reservoir was full, k-cup in place, states ready to brew, states brewing, and nothing happens. I even used filtered water! The K-cups are expensive and end up wasted when the brewer fails to work! Very unhappy with the product...so expensive and not reliable!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent machine - some K-cups not

We have had drip coffee makers, percolators and French presses. Our Keurig beats them all. We have the auto-on feature set so that we can make a quick cup in the morning during rush time, and again after supper when things are more relaxed. We've had a few of the issues others have had, such as no water pumping through or incomplete cups, but all of these have been the fault of a bad K-cup, and not the machine itself. We've had the filter in a K-cup fail and allow grounds to get into the lower needle, but once we clean it, the machine again works perfectly. We always use filtered water, nothing straight out of the tap. Our machine has been in use constantly for over six months now, and we are still sold on it.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: None so far

BEST GIFT I EVER GOT!!!!!

I received this last christmas as a gift, from someone that cares..Once I opened the box and set it up..etc.. I made my 1st cup of Marvalous coffee..I was HOOKED at that first cup..the coffee is much hotter than any other coffee maker on the markert ( that is very important to me)the many differnt types of coffees and flavors of coffees are outstanding!!! I have NOTHING bad to say about my Keurig..I just wish everyone would buy this and experince the wonderful taste & fast time it takes for only 1 cup of this coffee.. OH HOW HAPPY I AM THAT I HAVE MY KUERIG SYSTEM ( SPECIAL EDITION I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT IT EVER!! PLZ TRY IT..YOU WILL LOVE IT AS I DO..I'M SOUNDING LIKE A COMMERCIAL LOL I'm not.. I'm a real life person that loves her Keurig..hope you get yours also..Have a great day...!! :)

Even nicer than my Mini Plus

This is my second Keurig brewer. I bought a Mini Plus for my office a few months ago. When I left that office, I took the Mini home, where it quickly became my primary brewer. I wanted to take the Mini to my new office, but needed a replacement for home, so I bought the Special Edition at Sam's Club. I'm glad I got used to my Mini first, because the full-sized machine has all sorts of features that are not on the Mini and I might have been disappointed had I acquired them the other way around. The water tank, push-button portion selection, and the ability to use travel mugs are fantastic features. Now I'm considering taking the full-size one with me when I travel (by car, of course!) I highly recommend both the Mini and the Special Edition, but unless you need to carry the brewer around, consider getting a full-sized unit -- it really doesn't take much more space than the Mini and it has lots of convenient features that the Mini simply can't support. My only issue is that I want to use my own coffee, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to use My K-Cup.

2nd replacement

I just unpacked my 2nd replacement. Keurig replaced it free of charge [...] The rep I spoke to denied there is a flaw with any internal components. However, after 7 months of use my first B60 "short cupped" and after the next 7 months the 1st replacement did the exact same thing. The rep said that it was because I didn't descale it regularly... after only 7 months with REALLY clean tap water, and NEVER seeing the Descale warning on the brewer... seems to me there is a bigger problem than what Keurig will admit to. On my 3rd brewer I will be extremely careful and descale after 3 months...which is the time "recommended". If this one starts short cupping... not sure what I will do. I love K-cups but I might just have to give them, and Keurig, up. What a shame.

POOR QUALITY

This is my 3rd brewer in less than 1 year! Works great in beginning, but 6-7 months later, it only brews 1/2 cup, or pump doesn't work at all. I don't know if it's the special edition only that has issues or not. But not happy with this product. Also, I only use Poland Spring water, and maintain it per instructions.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Breaks Down, Noisy, Fragile

Durability

I bought my coffee maker in Sept '09. Well it quit yesterday. But it didn't just quit. I came in and there was water everywhere. It came on all by itself and emptied the entire amount of the 40 oz. It was on only a short time because it burnt out the heat coil and all the electrical from over heating and running out of water. I had just gone out to shovel snow, so it was not a long time. But I will buy another one for sure.

We love our Keurig so much that we are purchasing another one for our RV. We are both coffee drinkers and love how fast and easy the Keurig gives you that perfect cup of coffee. I am also a tea drinker and I love that feature about it also. We have had our Keurig about a year and NO problems at all. We use filtered water and it really makes a difference in the taste of the coffee. I don't drink tap water so why would I use it in my Keurig. I don't have any negative things to say. I always know that my coffee is going to be best. I recommend it to all my friends. It is a definite yes for me. I do recommend this and would give it as a gift.
