Didin't Last a Full Year

I received this unit as a gift last Christmas. It worked great for 11 months, then it started to malfunction. The unit just stopped working at times and would shut off. Other times it sounded like it it was working as I could hear the water boiling and being pumped but nothing would happed. Sometimes when it worked, it would dispense the incorrect amount of water (less than desired). So I called tech support and they had me try several procedures (clean/flush unit with distilled vinegar) but still no luck getting it fixed. They politely agreed to just send me a new unit at no expense to me. Although I will have to send a piece of the old unit (the K-Cup holder) back to them as confirmation of ownership of my current unit at my expense. That seems fair to me. Over all I am please with the unit and for something that is "mass produced", I have come to expect issues here and there from these type devices. So therefore, I rated it 3 out of 5 stars. I would have rated it 5 stars if I hadn't encountered this issue. Their customer support was very good and understanding. So, I'd recommend this unit or others from their product line. The company seems to be good with their warranty and support. That's my two cents… Hope this was helpful to anyone thinking of buying this unit.

I have had this brewer for 3 years without a problem. Today the plastic part that holds the top piercing pin broke. I went ahead and turned in my points and ordered the Platinum Brewer. We can't be without this brewer, it is wonderful. When my husband first saw it, he complained about all of my gadgets that I order. After the first cup, he was sold!! He uses this for about 10 cups of coffee a day, and I love the teas. No longer do I have to make pots of coffee in the morning-now we can each get our own. He prefers stonger coffee, and I prefer the weaker flavored ones. Now no compromising, we both get what we want. He swears the coffee is better than the expensive coffee shops. Every cup tastes fresh ground. You won't be sorry with one of these brewers!!!

I love this machine. It seems expensive but it isn't This gives you the coffee house coffee with out draining our bank account. I'd spend up to $4 on coffee but now it's less than a dollar a cup. Best Christmas present EVER!!!!!

I am so sorry for those of you that have managed to get a bad brewer! Only twice Has mine had a glitch in the 2 years that I have had it and I was able to quickly get service for it! I love the opportunity to have a variety of coffees without being wasteful! I love that I can have Fresh Brewed coffee without the wait. It's quick and easy for anyone to use! I am not spending the amount of money I was at one Popular Coffee chain. I love my Brewer so much until I decided I had to have the Cuisinart one for Christmas (not because there is something wrong with mine-This Special Edition Brewer will go to work with me!) Enjoy...
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

I will never clean a coffee pot again. This is so perfect and this machine is fast! I had the keurig mini and decided to finally step up after a few years. Love this!

We have had ours for a couple years, NEVER had a problem with it. We have multiple family members buy one after seeing ours and they all love them. We are buying one as a gift this christmas using some of our reward points. We ONLY use the filtered water out of our fridge and have no issue with build up. My wife drinks coffee and I like tea so these machines are perfect. I buy bulk tea and use the universal filter, works perfect! Recommend these machines to everyone.

I got this Special Edition Keurig as an early Christmas present from my fiance. I love it. I'm a mother to twins and I love how quickly this makes a cup of coffee. It really makes life a lot easier. :) I'm very happy with it this far. I'm excited to try all the different K-cups!

great idea poor performance

well i'm on my second unit. Keurig had me going thru all these steps that really didn't help. [...] It sounds like the water is being pumped into another area of the machine (where water should not be going). anyway, the end result is that the water is being pumped somewhere but no water is coming out. anyway i'm holding on to this one, will make the exchange in the future hoping the issue is fixed. love the machine but wish it worked correctly.
Pros: Easy to use, MAKES GREAT COFFEE
Cons: Doesn't always work
