Loved this for 5+ years!

Absolutely loved this coffee maker. I have owned it for 5+ years and never had an issue with it up until lately. It would no longer make a full cup of coffee and no matter how many times I would descale it the descale light would not go away. I have replaced it with the Platinum Model which I have had for 3 weeks now and I am hoping to get another 5+ years out of it! Highly recommend this Keurig.
Pros: Durable, Easy to use, Fast, Stylish

Lasted 6 Months then troubles started

It has to be something with this model. We have the cheaper one at work and it gets used alot. We have never had trouble with it. We use tap water in it. At home I have this model and had prime issues after 6 months. Only used filtered water in it. Has to be the computer panel that messes up heRE. Keurig did stand behind it and sent a new one out after I had to call in several times and go through the techs. Frustrating to spend $$$$ on a good machine and it doesn't last 6 months. If I had to do it again GO WITH THE CHEAPEST MODEL.
Pros: Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Noisy, HARD TO CLEAN, Used only filtered water, Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On my 3rd Brewer

I'm on my 3rd Special edition B160 brewer, first one lasted 3 months even cleaning every month as directed, kept on short cupping me. Second one kept saying prime water container all the time after 5 months had to keep removing the tank to fix, called Keurig they gave me a fix it did not work kept doing the same. On my 3rd one now just got it 2 weeks old so far so good, I hope it works a while I love this coffee Maker, the coffee is great and the machine works great until it starts acting up.... Keurig has to work on these problems and fix them so the coffee brewer works for more then a few months? Bob Tyngsboro MA 01879

Enjoyment turned disappointment

Bought this coffeemaker just 2 months ago and always used distilled water and the additional water filter. It just started shorting the amount a couple days ago then now only makes noise like the water pump is not working then shuts off. Will try customer service, but seems like this is a common complaint here. Something must be wrong with quality control.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Defective, Not durable

Great Customer Service

Had this machine for 6 months and ran into problem with the pump. A call to Keurig to troubleshoot and they ended up replacing the unit free of charge. The Customer Service Rep was great. I received my replacement in less than a week. It sounds like everyone has the same problem with the pump finally giving out. I hope they resolve the issue with the pump.

Cons: Noisy

I set the timer in the morning as I wake up. By the time I get to my brewer It is ready to brew my first cup of the day. Keurig makes life simple for me to get ready for what life has in store for me that day.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Durable, A work of art, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

Started an internal leak within 2 years of use. Unreachable spot to fix when examned.

Concept is wonderful, but the unit will fail very early. On one unit the pump failed to draw water. Threw that one away. On the second unit as much fluid bypassed back into the reservoir as went into the mug. After flushing with vinegar,dish soap, and clear water for hours there was no improvement. i got frustrated and gave it a smart whack on the top with my fist and the problem stopped. Some sort of stuck valve. Seems like the two times I've had problems with it were when I was gone for a weekend and left it on. As though something dried out and stuck.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Fragile
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
