Love this model!

I use the 6 oz setting and then 8 oz setting for a full mug and coffee that is a perfect strength for me. (I use two K-cups or fill the My K-cup twice.) The leaking refillable My K-cup issue, though more prevalent in the Elite model than the Special Edition model, is readily remedied by wrapping a rubber band or two under the rim on the outside of the cup. This makes the cup sit a little higher in the holder so the seal around the water needle can seat properly to prevent leaks. I highly recommend this model. And even though the disposable K-cups are expensive, it's still cheaper to make coffee by the cup at home this way for your commute than to buy it somewhere on the way to work. Or use the refillable K-cups. I have two that I use to make a mug of coffee. They're easy to fill and easy to rinse clean.

It's Awesom! One at the office & home

We got one in the office as a gift and we all fell in love with it! So after a month, I had to have one at home! they're great. I wish thre were more stores that had coffee and supplies though.

The Special Edition brewer is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Keurig!

I received as a gift from my sister & brother-in-law Christmas 2009. They had theirs for 6 months at that point and I used it constantly when visiting. Then last Mother's Day I received the mini-brewer for my office. Neither I nor my sister-in-law have had any problems with our machines. They are FABULOUS! Every morning I remove the drip tray to brew in my travel mug before leaving for work and then I brew a second cup with my mini-brewer at the office... a perfect cup EVERY time! On the weekends, my husband brews his bold coffee, I brew my breakfast blend and our 5-year-old daughter brews her hot chocolate... we all LOVE it!! The only con is that it's a bit noisy and my sister-in-law's is as well but, for the perfect cup I'm willing to deal with it! As I said, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Keurig! ;-)

GREAT brewer, but...

I received my brewer this past Christmas as a gift. About mid January, the brewer started turning off automatically and the cup sizes were becoming very inconsistent. I called Keurigs customer support number and advised them of the issues that I was having. They listened, quickly handled the issue and were VERY nice throughout the whole phone conversation. This to me is a sign of a very professional company. They are replacing my brewer, which should arrive within a couple of weeks. I would still continue to HIGHLY recommend the Keurig Brewer to my friends!!

After looking at these brewers in the store for months, I finally bought one. I, as well as my family absolutely love it. It's easy to use, no waste, hot cup of coffe within a few minutes and great variety with the K-cups. I have not had any problems as reported and would definately get another one.

Great for the coffee lover

I absolutely love my Keurig and love having fresh brewed coffee quickly. The reason I don't give it a 5 star is that I've already returned my first brewer to [...]after 2 months because it started shutting off by itself. Upon turning it back on it would take a long time to be "ready" and then it would shut off again, one time during brewing. I exchanged it for the exact model and now after 2 months it has started the same thing. [...] I am considering upgrading to another model to see how it goes because I really love this brewer.

Best Coffee Maker I've Ever Purchased

I've tried numerous coffee makers in my quest for the perfect cup of coffee- even several espresso machines- but it wasn't until I discovered the Keurig that I finally found the best coffee maker. The Keurig is easy to use- you just fill the water reservoir, insert the k-cup of coffee, and hit a button and voila! A perfect cup of coffee every time. And the variety of coffee that comes in the k-cups is amazing- from bold, dark coffees to mild morning blends, flavored coffees, chai, gourmet cocoas, and tons of teas. For me, the bottom line is that this machine produces a superior cup of coffee at the perfect temperature quickly and easily, and with little clean-up or maintenance. I can't imagine my morning routine without my Keurig!

had serious doubts about this when my mom bought this over for a gift. always tried these fancy machines before and had limited success with them. usually my problem with other machines was the end result, quality of the coffee but this coffee is great. i gotta say i dont think this machine is loud at all. i have a two bedroom apartment and really cant hear this in any room but the kitchen. love this little contraption.
