Love My Keurig... I would buy another!

My husband has been wanting this machine, however I wasn't a fan at first. Now I love this machine really glad he talked me into it! Love trying all differnt brands of cofee. I just wish we didn't have to purchase the k-cup filter separately! Takes a little time cleaning it out but worth it when you want your own special brew.( Our's is Dunkin Donuts we still buy it by the pounds.) The only fall back is when using the filter you will have to pull down the gasket at the top where the needle is . I had a problem with water spraying out. ( Customer service helped with this problem.) You may have to do this each time when using your k-cup filter. I like being a member in the coffee club , and getting special discounts & offers!! Can't wait to earn enough points to get another Keurig for my summer place! I have already raved about my Keurig at work, and I think my co-workers are ready to puchase one of their own.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Stylish, Easy to use

Very Disappointed

I purchased this machine for myself, my sister and my Dad. Thinking it would be a nice change. It was fun trying different types of brews of coffee, and teas. But after two months, the button light for the medium sized cup went out. A few weeks after that we noticed it failed to brew a full cup for the largest size. Gradually over time, it brewed less and less. My family is having the same issue with the brewing, and my sister is having issues with the light. I'm not happy at all. All three machines cost over $500. I did so thinking it would be a great investment, now it is wasting expensive K-cups, and taking up counter space. No I would not recommend this to anyone.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Defective, Pricey / Poor Value, Malfunction

Failure After Warranty Expired

I'm very disappointed in this brewer. I'm now outside of my warranty period and my brewer has broken down. When turned on, it immediately begins pumping water through and won't stop. When it says it's ready to brew the lights do not blink, instead the largest size button stays lit. I cannot believe that such an expensive brewer would die so quickly. I love the convenience and choices I have with K cups but I cannot afford to replace my Keurig brewer every year and a half just outside of the warranty period. :( I've never been more disappointed with a coffee brewer!
Pros: Fast
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, ExpensivePoor Quality

Great Customer Service!

We've had our Keurig for just over 2 years. We've descaled and cleaned the unit and still had brewing issues. I called customer service and after walking through the standard troubleshooting steps, they offered to send me a new machine FOR FREE, even though our warranty was up. While the Keurig does have an occasional issue, they are aware and willing to do what they can to keep a customer. It's nice to have a company stand by their product.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Down time for de-scaling, Limited Cup Sizes

I drink coffee very sporatically. Some days 3 cups, other days none. Even though I don't have to have it everyday, I really enjoy my coffee and want it to be right. My mom gave me this machine after she purchased her own. She loves hers, I am not as thrilled. Although I love the ease of the machine and the size, I am unhappy with the cup of coffee that comes out of it. My machine started making inconsistent cup sizes of coffee after about 6 months. I tried multiple brands of K-cups to find a taste that I could "tolerate". Now after 18 months (even after running vinegar through it and cleaning the puncture needle) it will barely dribble out coffee some days but make a full cup the next time. I am hesitant to go with this brand again.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Convenient, Multiple Settings
Cons: Not durable, Pricey / Poor Value, Decent cup of coffee

I wouldn't buy this product again

This is my second brewer. The 1st began smoking then shut down after 1 year. The 2nd won't stay on to make the coffee; and it began shutting down after 1 year. I drink 1 cup of coffee per day and this is frustrating. It's great for company when it works.

We use this machine anywhere from 3-10 times per day and miss it greatly when we are not home. I also use it to make iced tea - love it! My husband has had fun trying the different bold flavors and the price of k-cups is cheaper than his previous trips to the gourmet coffee shop! I do hear it when it pumps water into the heating chamber but it is not what I would consider to be loud. This week, after 10 months of use, it has been failing to get to 'ready to brew' without powering off then on several times. I called customer service, explained the problem to the rep, and now my new machine is on its way, no cost to me! I saw reviewers complain about being stuck with k-cups because their machine stopped working after two weeks, or 6 months, etc. but Keurig has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee and then a 1 year warranty so what's the problem? Just make sure to register your machine online as soon as you get it and you should have no worries!
Pros: Stylish, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

I purchased a Keurig for my home 3 years ago after using the one at work. I think it has been one of the greatest inventions and best purchases I have made. I love flavored coffee, my husband didn't. I can also make whatever flavor of tea or hot chocolate in seconds. Plus it is an easy and quick way to get hot water for making Jello. In addition to all the comments I made I also pack it up and bring it to our Monthly Meetings so evryone can enjoy their own favorite coffee. Might I suggest Keurig come up with some sort of travel bag?

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.
