Water pump failed in 3 months!

The water pump on the machine broke after just 3 months! From reading other reviews, it seems like this is a common problem. Why can't they get it right. The machine makes great coffee.....build a better product and stop disappointing your customers.
Pros: Easy to use

Will not buy again

I bought the original Keurig in Nov 2009, I had to call cust service today to have a 5th one sent to me. The original powered off and would not power back on, can't even recall what the second one did, 3rd on was stuck on menu and you had to trick it into brewing!! Now, this one has done the same as the original. For the money, you would think they would either fix the issues or discontinue this particular model. When I am no long under warranty, I will not be getting another Keurig. When they work, they are wonderful and I have to say, they have the best cust serv reps.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use, Accommodates All Cup Sizes
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had no problems with our Keurig in the office. I have one at home also and when it started having problems I descaled it according to the instructions and it is back to working perfectly again.
Pros: Stylish, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use, Durable, Multiple Settings

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

The pot is great the biggest problem is I have been thru two already in 2 years because it brews a short cup. I recommend them to everyone, but feel bad when it starts brewing the short cup. It is easy to use and the coffee is great.There isnt any noise issues. They just need to improve the mechanism in it. I threw away so much coffee on my old coffee makers.This is easy and convienient. I love it.Coffee tastes great!

Love my Keurig!

I love this coffee maker. It is easy to use and I can have a cup whenever I please in a short amount of time. The only issue is when using the filters to use brew bagged coffee. It is messy.
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Fast
Cons: Messy when using filter

I first met the Keurig brewer in a hotel room in Philadelphia in May of 2008 and it was love at first sight. I came home, researched it and had one in my house within the week. My love only grew with time. I love the convenience; the speed with which you get your coffee; the fact that you can get a wide variety of K-cups just about anywhere. The idea of going back to the old fashioned brewing was unthinkable. To give an idea of the workload my brewer bears, we brew an average of three cups a day 365 days a year. The days that we're away and don't brew are balanced out by the days when we have a houseful of guests each brewing a cup or more. That first brewer lasted two years almost to the day. When it died, I called customer service. We did some trouble shooting but couldn't fix it. They offered me a discount on a new one and I jumped on it... How awesome was that?! The replacement was an improvement on the first one. They had perfected the "silent technology" and it was much, much quieter. Those earlier versions could be heard anywhere in the house when they were brewing. After about a year, that brewer started acting up. In digging out the manual to get the number for customer service, I realized that I had had it for one year and one day... technically, one day outside the warranty period. They were very nice, though, and did honor the warranty. My new brewer should be arriving any day now. After the second one started acting up, I looked at the online reviews for the first time and sensed that longevity is not one of the Keurig brewer's strong suits. As a result, when this one dies (and the good money says that that's going to be within two years) I'm more than likely going to go with different brand. It turns out that what I love is not so much the Keurig brewer, as it is the concept of the single cup brewer along with the bonus of no clean up afterwards. I've seen reviews for one brand of single cup brewer where the owners have had them for five years and more. I'll probably try that one. Would I recommend it to a friend? Only With the caveat that it's probably going to last them no more than two years. Knowing that up front, some people may find that acceptable.

Cons: Built to be disposable

Not Built to Last

Just not built tp last! We're on our 3rd one in 3 years. They seem to last about 11 months. The only good thing is that they have been under warranty. Water pumps seem to lose sucking power. Great brewer when they work.

Very Disappointed

I purchased this machine for myself, my sister and my Dad. Thinking it would be a nice change. It was fun trying different types of brews of coffee, and teas. But after two months, the button light for the medium sized cup went out. A few weeks after that we noticed it failed to brew a full cup for the largest size. Gradually over time, it brewed less and less. My family is having the same issue with the brewing, and my sister is having issues with the light. I'm not happy at all. All three machines cost over $500. I did so thinking it would be a great investment, now it is wasting expensive K-cups, and taking up counter space. No I would not recommend this to anyone.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Defective, Pricey / Poor Value, Malfunction
