Almost 2 years old and still great!

We've had our Keurig for almost 2 years now, and it's still great. We use it daily, and have only on a very rare occasion encountered a small problem where half a cup brews. I will say the brewer has become louder in the past 6 months than when brand new, but it's nothing to deal with for a great cup of coffee. Overall, my husband and I are very please with Keurig, and we've even switched his and Aunt and Mother on to keurig as well!
Pros: Multiple Settings, Durable, Stylish, Easy to use

How Did We Live Without It?????

I originally bought the Keurig Special Edition for my mother who lives with my husband and myself. She is 70 and has been a coffee lover since as long as I can remember. I cannot remember a day that she has not consumed at least 6-8 or more cups of coffee unless she was sick. She loves many flavors of coffee and gourmet types of coffee drinks. Needless to say I was a little worried as to whether the Keurig would produce coffee that would measure up to her seasoned coffee palate and discriminating tastes. Me? Prior to getting the Keurig,I would drink one to three cups of coffee per week. After much reseach and thought,I finally bought the Keuring to make it easier and quicker for my mother to make a cup of coffee. As I awaited her judgement about the first cup of coffee from the Kuerig, all I could about was "I hope I didn't was [$] for nothing." Well, my worries were in vain. If I tried to take the Keuring away from my mom now, she would deck me. SHE LOVES IT!!! She tells me that the coffee is SO MUCH BETTER. She loves all the variety. We have gotten about 30-40 different K-cups so far. The only one she hasn't liked is the Caribou. My husband and I LOVE the Keurig too. He loves mixing Cafe Mocha with Butter Toffee. Where I used to drink coffee once in a while, I now drink it daily. It is so easy to make a cup with no mess or fuss! And the variety of coffess are endless! You can have a different coffee every half hour if you want too. WE LOVE OUR KEURIG!!! I don't now how we ever lived without it!

I bought this last October and was so excited I was telling everyone I knew about it, however very shortly after I got it, it started acting up, not always working, it would make sounds like it was going to start brewing but it wouldnt then it would shut off, when I turned it back on it would brew a double size cup so it would overflow everywhere. When I called in about my warranty they said someone would call me back and no one ever called. We find ourselves running vinegar through it almost weekly and we have used nothing but bottled water in it. I really wish Keurig would replace these and stand by their products. Very expensive to only have it functioning properly for 3 weeks!

Cons: Complicated, HARD TO CLEAN

repeat problem withis model. Keurig claims that it is user error by not keeping it clean..same problem whether is it has been cleaned or not..DO NOT Recommend this model The problem is that after selecting a cup size, the brewer does not always fill the cup and you have turn it off and on and lift the handle up and down to get it to brew..sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't..when it does, you get a fill that exceeeds the cup size and it overflows...After repeated phone calls, Keurig, to their credit, replaced the brewer..

Cons: Poor electronics, HARD TO CLEAN, Fragile, Poor quality control

I would not buy another one again

this is the third brewer we have had, the first one use to brew all by itself without even wanting to brew a cup of coffee, called customer service they were great sent us another one. About 7 months later the new one was not plugged in went to plug it in and it blew a fuse. Called customer service said that there must be a short we had to send the K cup to them and they would send us out another one. The third one is 8 months old and does act up occasionally but not like the others. If this one goes I am not replacing it I would by another from another mfg. Customer service is great thought.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

Disappointed but hopeful.....

I received my Keurig for Christmas, and I initially loved its convenience. Within 3 months it started having issues. Thinking it needed cleaned, I followed through with the instructions. It worked properly for about a week and then the malfunctions started. It does not fill a cup, in fact, I can hear the pump stop working. It dispenses water for about 3 seconds, water sits in the K-cup and the right button is unlit. I am hopeful that Keurig will "do the right thing". I am not sure I would recommend this product to a friend.

Cons: Poor durability

Best Coffee in Town! I am spoiled!

My husband asked for a machine for Father's Day two years ago. Best gift I could've given him considering I am the one addicted to it. I was very skeptical at first, but it is truly the BEST coffee I have ever had. I love the Green Mountain brand of everything I have tried. I have had absolutely NO trouble with my machine and use it at least 4 times per day every day. Consistent cup size, consistent flavor, so easy to use! However, after reading other comments, I am sorry to hear the horror stories. We must have gotten lucky. It sounds like quality control in making machines is not nearly as consistent as my great cup of coffee. Come on, Keurig, get your quality consistent on your machines. As much as I use mine, I will certainly have to replace it at some point. But not if I keep hearing about all of the problems.

On New Years, I spent the night at a friends. She received the Platinum for Christmas from her fiancee, and wow! I didn't even know it existed. I loved it. So about a month ago I bought my own. My boyfriend kept asking why I'd spend so much on a coffee maker, but once he tried it out, he liked it. He uses it to make the occasional cup of coffee, Cup of Noodles, and cocoa. I love the thing! I even bought an ice tumbler so that I could make coffee (BTW, Southern Pecan makes DELICIOUS iced coffee). I used it for tea (I'm not even a tea drinker) and the variety offered here are excellent. It's easy to fill and use. I live with my parents in an attic-turned-studio apartment, so I hated going downstairs at 6:30am, cold and wet from a shower, just to get a cup of coffee -- and sometimes, there wouldn't be any for me, so I'd have to wait 20 minutes for their busted coffee maker to brew. Now, I get out of the shower, hit a magical button, and presto! Delicious coffee. I do wish I had the machine with a travel mug size option, but if I really want a bigger cup, I'll just brew the K-Cup twice on medium or small. Normally, the large is perfect for what I'm craving (you get enough room for creamer, since I like my coffee white). Overall, love it!
