Not too bad so far-

My mom has the special ed and I tell ya, that sucker is loud. Also having issues with using the grey "use your own coffee" cup. Typically we get a bunch of grounds in our cup and water goes all over. My b/f has a platinum, it's quiet, it doesn't spray water and the grey cup has no issues. Not sure why the difference. Both bought around the same time.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Noisy, HARD TO CLEAN, Watery mess sometimes
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT COFFEE---POOR QUALITY COFFEE MAKER

This is a difficult review as you want to give it 5 STARS but can't because of the quality of the coffee maker. FIRST AND FOREMOST ---- BUY AN EXTENDED WARANTEE.(I bought my coffee maker at [@]) It's $10 well spent as you probably will have to use it as the average machine machine WILL NOT LAST longer than ONE YEAR. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER WITH KEURIG as it will help you through their customer service department. Our family and in-laws have purchased more than 8 of these makers and ALL HAVE EXPERIENCED some type of problem as expressed by others in their reviews and OVER HALF OF US HAVE HAD THEIR MACHINE DIE by 18 MONTHS OF SERVICE. When you pay over $125 for a coffee maker it SHOULD LAST WAY LONGER THAN IT DOES. A cheap $20 maker will lasat for years compared to a KEURIG.I have had had all the issues that others have had in the first year of ownership then at the 18 month mark IT JUST DIED...... Frankly, if the management of KEURIG read these reviews (including the reviews on their website) you would think that QC would be scrambling to resolve the problems with the makers.Right now I'm waiting for my refund/credit from Samis Club Warantee servicde and DEBATING WHETER I SHOULD BUY ANOTHER??? But with over a 100 cups sitting on my shelf WHAT DOES ONE DO ????MAYBE KEURIG SHOULD GIVE YOU THE COFFEE MAKER (like GEVALIA) and then you buy their coffee. Then the sting of spending $100+++ wouldn't be there...I'm not sure wheter I would recommend to a friend...
Pros: Multiple Settings, BROAD SELECTION OF COFFEE, Fast, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Easy to use, Great cup of coffee
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, MUST BUY EXTENDED WARANTE, Fragile

Too Cold

I have had my B60 Special Edition for 5 weeks. The coffee is too cold. After adding a little cream I have to microwave the coffee to heat it up again. The manual says the temp is 192F but when I take the temp of the coffee it is 170F, too cold. I called customer service and they said that is the expected temp, that it cools 20F during brewing, that it can be as low as 165F after brewing and they said that is normal. This is not good. I went to a coffee shop with my temp sensor and their coffee was 188F, just right. I am past the 30 day guaranteed return now, otherwise I would send it back. Customer Service did not offer to take it back. I wish I had thought to take the temp a week earlier so I could return it as too cold. It does no good to have a fast system and then have to take time to reheat the coffee in the microwave even before drinking it.
Cons: Limited Cup Sizes

I am a new mom and I own a home daycare so although I dont over indulge (nursing mom) I need one in the morning and one in the afternoon to keep me on my toes. I was given this as a gift a year ago while I was pregnant. I didnt use it much (although I did indulge in delicious hot cider k-cups from time to time) and I had never been much of a coffee drinker. Once the baby came and the daycare started, so did my 2 cup a day coffee habit. I love the one cup brewers so I can try all different kinds of coffee. I still need flavored creamer or creme and sugar, but I use this appliance every day. its a bit noisy and due for a cleaning, but its still working out great! Best gift from the last year.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Fast, Easy to use, Durable
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Noisy

Just one thing...

Don't know if they already exist, but for us who drink coffee by-the-mug, 1 K-cup doesn't have enough coffee grounds to get the perfect taste. 1 K-Cup is good for the 5-7 Oz. cup.
Pros: Easy to use, Quick Brew, Stylish
Cons: 1K-Cup x 10oz cup is weak, Limited Cup Sizes
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Special Edition Brewing System is designed and UL approved for household use. Keurig recommends customers use Keurig brewers consistent with their intended use.

COffee Maker stopped dispensing proper amount of water. I called Customer Service, they walked me through some trouble shooting steps and determined it could not be corrected. They immediatley stated that they were shipping me a new one at no cost. I have had this machine for almost a year and they are shipping me a new one and I do not have to spend a dime for shipping or the new machine. AWESOME experience!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend the machine based on the customer service that comes along with the purchase.
Pros: Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Durable, Easy to use, Stylish, Fast, Multiple Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!
